the room was cold, it was not so good

Had to find another hotel after arriving late night. Huge noises (fireworks/shot guns) started and scared the hell out of us. Other guests started calling the police, they thought the sound came from within. Also, the room Frederik smelled like pee, all windows were open, not a good sign. It was also difficult to find our rooms and it felt like we were in a scary area of town.

The apartment was great, very clean and spacious. Parking was never a problem as there is reserved spaces for the hotel patrons. The area is a small town but it has a grocery store right next to the hotel and a few small restaurants if you feel like dining out.

We were directed to another building entirely, so all the nice pictures of the hotel were not applicable to our accomodation. The apartment was clean and functional, but the bathroom was quite worn and outdated.
The street was extremely noisy - particularily in the early morning...
Breakfast was served in the main building. It was however very plain and limited.
The stay was therefore a bit disappointing.

Good hotel and nice breakfast but no reception and personal, you go in to the hotel and your room with a keycode.

It works, no unresolved complaints, nothing fancy. Practical rooms, good beds, no noise.
Reservation for parking worked however no parking lots free for us at arrival! E-charging is way to expensive, use Tesla charger in Kliplev!

Not simple to ask for extras e.g. pillow.
Would be perfect if tea/coffee making facilities in room. Fridge would be good for keeping drinks chilled.

the room and interio was dissapointing. pictures on internet looked great but room was not. Bed uncomfortable and the pillows unusefull

I did a late booking because I knew the hotel. I did not get any link/sms with pin etc and the contact to customerservice was complicated - took 40 min to get all solved just before midnight
I was installed in a different building from before, and the information was extremely poor.
There was a terrible smell in the building and the quality of the room was way lower than expected.
Last, there was no code for getting in to the building the following morning for breakfast
Not a good experience, and I am not going there again, even it’s a good location for me 1-2 nights a week

Good basic hotel in a nice central location in Gråsten.
I was generally satisfied. The room was very small though. There was minimum floor space for luggage and it was very har to pass between the bed and the cupboard. But apart from that I was very satisfied and would stay there again. Breakfast was nice and staff friendly

Exceptionally comfortable hotel, - I wish I could spend days and weeks there and Graasten - small, rurban and beautiful.

Central placed in Graasten close to the castle, path of the Gendarmstien and border to Germany.

Great stay at the hotel! The room was spacious and perfect for a family four. The town around is quite small and we stayed on a Sunday night meaning there weren’t many options open for dinner, but we were able to find a pizzeria right across the square. We would definitely stay again!

Grasten is a small town but with a car you could have some special days with a good hotel as basis

Working in travel retail I had to be close to german border, but still in a nice area where I could relax once off work. This fit my needs very well. Rooms are not big, but they are clean and updated, great soft beds and best of all is location - right in front on the ‘Gråsteen Castle’ you can take 15 steps down and sit by the lake, enjoying the view. Service is top, great selection on breakfast buffet especially during weekends, and very kind staff. They made me an off menu Vegan dish, and did a great job, very accomodating and always ready to help. Definitely will recommend!

Great little hotel. Peculiar in a good way - rooms are named, not numbered. Food is good, staff are great. Right in the middle of town, next to a lake and a royal palace. Comfortable room, great shower.

I think the Det Gamle Rashus was not an only clean and quiet but very beautiful. The staff members were very helpful and always welcomed me with a warm smile. And the food was great, my compliments to the chefs. I stayed two weeks and I was very happy and comfortable during my stay. I hope to visit again soon
