Our room was too small and on top of that we were charged extra for our 2 year old. Additionally it appears that the building hasn’t been renovated in a while.

Construction was happening on 3rd floor. Long walk to my room which I asked to be close to elevator due to health issues. Icemaker broken in freezer. For the price I paid expected better

The room was very clean and cozy. The front wrap around porches provided a terrific setting for just relaxing and listening to the sounds of the ocean waves. The breakfast was so plentiful and so many choices of home made breakfast items. Just a great place that’s well run! We plan to come back again!!

Location was great, with an easy walk right to the beach. Multiple porches to relax on, beautiful landscapin. "Free" Parking is on street, and not reserved, hit or miss as you compete with beach goers. Beach tags, not included with stay like most places, however can purchase these at the front desk at 1/2 price. If booking through a 3rd party site, def check your reservation with Ocean Plaza directly, did not find out until morning of check-in we had to change rooms halfway through our stay, and pack up everything to relocate to another room, two floors up. Staff was dismissive about this, when it was very inconvenient to us, we were without a room for several hours, as they cleaned and turned over the rooms. Staff just blamed expedia, and made no attempt to compensate or even at the least apologize for the mix up, front desk staff actually sat at computer and laughed about it, saying expedia just wanted to fill the rooms. This clearly impacted our stay, will not be staying here again.

Wonder full locat

This was a lovely property! The house was warm and welcoming and in the perfect part of town. The breakfast was the best I’ve seen and with lots of options. The one little note is that it’s an older house, so if you get a loud upstairs neighbor you can definitely hear any step they take. That kept us up a bit, but I think we had particularly loud folks up there. I would definitely stay again.

The accommodations were good. There was a noisy family above our room and the kids kept dropping things on the floor.

The Ocean Plaza is in a great location to shopping in Ocean Grove and a very short walk to shopping and entertainment in Asbury Park. Park your car and bike or walk all around the area.

Very convenient to the beach boardwalk and Asbury park. The hotel is across the street from a park which adds to the view and spaciousness Highly recommended

Beautiful victorian on nice street with partial ocean views. 1 block walk to beach. Staff friendly. Snacks, water, coffee provided. Breakfast buffet nice variety of hot and continental options. Easy street parking in off-season months. Very clean. Would stay here again!

As a current cancer patient, I was not feeling well, the staff went out of their way to check me in early so I could rest. The kindness they showed me was a blessing. The property is beautiful, their small touches like coffee w/cream in the room, water and an amazing breakfast makes this in stand out from the norm. Thank you Ocean Plaza

The ocean plaza was a nice place to stay for my 1 nite there. It was clean and the room was quaint. I could hear people walking up and down the stairs and in the hallway. But overall it was a nice place to stay. The front desk people were very friendly.

Everything about our stay was exceptional! From the friendliness of the staff to the beautifully maintained building. Room was large and well appointed. Breakfast buffet which was served to you was homemade on a porch with an ocean view. Ocean Grove as a township is stately in its Victorian era buildings and felt very safe and comfortable. Ocean Plaza was a nice walk to the action and music of Asbury Park while feeling a world away!
