We had a lovely stay at The Canford - beautifully decorated room, comfy bed and lovely bath products. The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely too. Will definitely chose this hotel to stay again when we are visiting Bournemouth.

I stayed in The Canford with my cousins to attend a family wedding at the nearby Italian Villa. The hotel was the nicest friendliest small hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and the service at breakfast was perfect. I would love to visit again sometime and would thoroughly recommend it.
My room had everything you could possible need in it - hairdryer, (and a mirror beside a socket which is not always the case), ironing board, well stocked little bar and tea and coffee making facilities, very comfortable bed and pillows and was nicely decorated. It was also well stocked with toiletries.
It was a short walk to the beautiful long beach where we walked along the prom in both directions.

So glad we booked this place rather than a large hotel in the area that we were considering. The room was gorgeous with a big bath tub (we chose one of the big rooms). Check in was easy, staff were v friendly and accommodating despite looking after the restaurant too (special mention to Ashmi who waited on us a couple of times in the restaurant). Food is fab, especially the Sunday roast. We managed to get parking on each of the 3 days/nights we were there. The only thing to note is that the cleaners only do a “quick once over” in your rooms every morning. Fab stay and will definitely stay again and recommend. Location is perfect. We walked from there to Old Harry’s Rocks. Visited Worbarrow Bay, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and a vineyard all within a short driving distance. Enjoy!

Beautiful room and lovely food (especially breakfast!) but I was woken at 3am by someone moving furniture around in the bar area/restaurant so not the best nights sleep. I guess it was bad luck for me as I was right above the area where this was going on for an hour so will try another room next time.

We stayed in Room 1 which was delightful. The staff had thought of pretty much everything. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We ate in the pub and had an excellent roast meal. The location was great for exploring the coast on foot.

Such an amazing stay at Canford. I stayed in Room no.1 which was absolutely gorgeous - I’d 100% recommend.
Lunch was great, breakfast was great. Staff were helpful and the pub had a really nice atmosphere - perfect for my needs which were to be able to do some work whilst holding a conversation with a few drinks 10/10 🎺

This is an amazing hotel. We booked a standard double room and it was really nicely decorated with a decent sized bathroom and well stocked mini bar. All the staff at the hotel were very helpful and the food was very good. The outside area of the hotel was nice with different areas to sit away from the cold.

Had a brilliant stay at the Canford in one of their dog friendly rooms. Gorgeous hotel, great location and everyone was so lovely. The room was huge and decorated so beautifully, the food was great and I can't fault it. Extra points for being so lovely to our cocker spaniel who had a great time! :)

I thought it was lovely. I stay regularly in London in 5 star hotels. his is a small 11 bedroom part of a pub / diner and the two rooms I booked were both lovely. I honestly don't have anything negative to say. They were big comfortable rooms with nice furnishings, comfy beds, air conditioning, and an amazingly well stocked mini bar too!

Loved our stay at The Canford. The room was spacious and well presented with lots of excellent touches. We ate their in the evening and for breakfast and the food was very good. All the staff were friendly and helpful so would highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

Things are obviously a little different at the moment but on the whole we enjoyed our stay.Staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent.We did have an issue with the tap controls in our bathroom and and the plug mechanism in the bath didn't work. Hard to get an optimum bath temperature.Shame that the bar area seemed to be booked both evenings by locals so we were unable as residents to actually use the hotel bar. Maybe a few tables should be held back as there was nowhere else within walking distance to have a drink.
