Ladera had similar ratings to most of the areas higher end and boutique hotels, but was offering a lower competitive rate, similar to the nearby Solace hotel at which we also stayed. The finishes, amenities, spacious room with comfortable beds/sheets, etc was all on point with that you should expect for the price-point, and a good value. Our only main criticism would be the staff. Over 3 days we interacted to some degree with about 4-5 individuals, mainly at the front desk. None were rude, but none were particularly friendly or hospitable either. I don't really care about exaggeratedly enthusiastic hotel staff, but they all seemed to be pretty indifferent to their jobs and guests. The other quirky thing is the need for a key card to get OUT of the hotel (and despite the two of us at checkin giving only one key for us both). There were numerous time when we were briefly separated or doing different things in the hotel that require a keycard, and having to knock and wait at the entrance to be let in/out repeatedly.

It was a great stay overall. I liked the room, the staff were all very nice. I complained about the water (not having hot enough water for 24 hours), but it was addressed after this. Very close to teleferico oasis station for views!

Everything was excellent during my stay. Friendly staff and the quality of the rooms were the highlights. If I had to say something negative, I would mention location. It's about a 10 minute walk to restaurants, although it's very close to hiking and trails.

Checking was lovely. Rooftop patio and pool were great with beautiful views. Room is nice and clean.

Great modern hotel in Santiago. I was there for one night for a business trip and found this hotel to be a great option.

Wonderful hotel and facilities and the staff were very accommodating. The hotel is in a mostly residential area but an easy walk or taxi to many places in Santiago and walking or cycling distance to Cerro San Cristóbal. The dining room menu was a little limited so consider dining out at many of the wonderful restaurants nearby. Overall it was a great choice for my business travel.

Great hotel but with an awful service at breakfast. We had to ask of the staff members (desk) for our coffee refill because the restaurant personal did no care (preferred chatting than attending the restaurant).

Great location less than a ten minute walk to all the bars and restaurants of Providencia. Also a ten minute walk to the beautiful main park with great views of the Andes. The hotel was nicely decorated and clean with an excellent breakfast (they cook eggs your way!) and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again!

We stayed at this hotel for than week. It is in a great location (Providencia), all of the staff were friendly and always helpful with any request, the rooms were clean, modern comfortable, the kitchen and wait staff provided excellent service, and the food was excellent. In short our experience that Ladera was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The attention to detail is second to none. The staff can’t do enough for you. The location is excellent and the views of the city and mountains stunning. This is the only hotel I would stop at in Santiago. Simply outstanding

We turned up hot and tired after along drive and were offered coffee and the chance to cool off while they completed the paperwork, The staff couldn't have been more helpful, even ringing us up on the morning we had a VERY early departure to check we were ready for the taxi. Breakfasts were lovely and the hotel is within safe and pleasant walking distance of the hop on hop off bus stop at Costanera Centre, some great restaurants and shops, money changers, a park and the teleferique which you can use to connect with the funicular to another part of the city. The roof top pool has great views and a cooling breeze but it was spoilt by the loud techno style music.

nice hotel, great neighborhood, but they overcharged my father after the fact and have refused to answer multiple request to correct/investigate. so, nice place, but pretty shaddy to charge $100s of dollars erroneously and then refuse to respond to inquiry. overall, not worth the hassle

Stylish hotel, great staff, good location. My only complaint was there was no desk in the room which can be a little awkward when doing some work. That being said, I’d stay there again. Expedia is making me type more which is annoying so I will comment on how they should change the minimum words allowed. Right now I’d give this Expedia review form a 1 of 5 stars.

Very nice rooftop pool with fantastic views over the city. Our room was on the top floor and the room itself was more than adequate but be aware the noise from traffic is quite constant so might not be suitable for a light sleeper. Diego and the team the front desk were very helpful with all our requests including organising transfers to the airport and early check in.

Great place! Amazing swimming pool and view! The room and peole are very good. The clean system of rooms is kind a different for the regular! But the good amenities, new instalations and the staff are over from this little things!

From the moment we arrived we felt the warmth from all the staff members at Ladera. Perfect location - in a safe, clean, quiet area of Santiago and just a brief walk from many great sites and restaurants. The room and beds were incredibly comfortable with great features, and the common space was open and inviting. We loved all the complimentary extras that were included in our stay - juice, water and coke in the minibar, free bicycles, amazing breakfast, late check out and evening snacks. In addition to the beautiful rooftop pool there is also a hotel tub, steam room and special massage shower inside. The staff and management are outstanding in every aspect, friendly and sincerely concerned in helping the guest. We highly recommend staying here.
