The hotel is about 200m from Back Beach, whereas the closest hotels are about 50m. Back Beach is superior to Vung Tao's Front Beaci in my opinion.
The room came as advertised with no complaints. The pool is excellent with a swimming play area for children. Adjacent to the pool is a young child's play room as well as foosball and billiards for we adult children. There are sections of the pool that are covered providing nice protection from rain or sun.
The buffet breakfast is well above average.

Hotel posted highlights on hotels.com that was deceptive. It says free extra bed upon request but when requested, it took frontdesk hours to confirm with sale dept and still expected me to pay extra for the bed, even after hotels.com called the hotel and told them to send me the rollaway bed as that was included in my booking and me showing them their advertisement on hotels.com. Frontdesk should be trained on what is included in booking and not relying on sale dept to confirm. Breakfast buffet has good presentation and variety but the seasoning on some dishes are slightly off. If you book via third party app, make sure to confirm with the hotel all the amenities you need and resolve right away and be careful that this hotel tends to lean towards surcharges.

Very nice place and we had a pleasent stay. The room was spacious and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Felt both safe and good taken care of. Close to beach. Nice pool and chilled. Could be crowded with kids and family but did not bother us much. Alot of varieties for breakfast. Overall very satisfied and would recommend and come bacl

Malibu hotel is a lovely hotel, nice rooms, excellent service and great location close to the beach. I got the room with ocean view, which is just spectacular. The hotel staff are friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The restaurant serve good foods and for breakfast. Although I stayed 4 nights for vacation trip, I did feel relaxed and energized

Located near the beach and close to Lotte mart. There are about three or four local seafood restaurants opposite hotel.
Was there over the weekend and a lot of locals from hcmc came up, I think. Hence hotel was very lively and it was nice.
Breakfast was alright to me and the service staff was attentive. Spread was good to me as I do enjoy it even though a do not eat much at breakfast.
Check in and out was smooth. Counter staff was very helpful. They were able to extend me check out but at a fee.

The staff is incredibly friendly and polite- very professional and made me feel very welcome
Everything was wonderful and I will definitely recommend and stay at the Malibu each time I visit Vung Tau
- Special thank you to the Bao Ve who always help my girl find a parking spot and opened the door with an incredible smile and warm greeting- made me feel exceptionally welcomed.

Overall loved staying here from the appearance outside of the hotel and the luxurious lobby with the waterfall. The excellent staff and very polite and accomodating the welcome refreshment given to guests upon checking in. The breakfast buffet and restaurant good choices, the swimming pool was wonderful as well. What impressed me most was the beautiful and spacious rooms and how comfortable it was. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visting Vung Tàu you wont be disappointed. I will definitely come here again.

Hotel front desk service ladies where not that friendly. They do not even give you an iron board or iron but I stark make you pay for them to do it for you. Bathroom amenities where very light with supplies. Food buffet was not good. Front lobby was always hot. Just over all unpleasant I should have stayed at the Pullman next door where I stayed before. Malibu needs a big renovation
