It was a nice stay our for family. Plain , simple, clean. There are couple of extra cool features that you usually don't expect to find in the motel room: office desk with adjustable height, alarm clock with wireless charger and turn-on-touch lamp, heated mirror in the bathroom and several more :) .

Everything was really good. However the units could use a refresh. Paint, fill some cracks in the wall. And steam clean the carpets. The staff were very knowledgeable about the area and what was happening. Very polite. Would highly recommend.

Very well run! Iqbal and his wife have a little gem on their hands. Place is clean and has a few upgrades like of dimmer lights, wireless charging by the bed and auto demist mirrors in the bathroom. Parking is right outside your unit. Location is incredible, many stores within walking distance, some literally across the street! It's also got a whole back area with some extra ammenities (check out their pictured of the back area, they even have a bbq if you wanted to grill your own food. Iqbal also knows the area well and has some great recommendations for placed to check out. Overall super solid place run by some great people who truly care about what they do. I will always be back if I'm ever in the area.

Good accommodations close to downtown Goderich. Cute little motel. I arrived late, about 11:30pm but still got friendly service. The unit is a basic motel unit with so-so wifi but clean and functional.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The owners are awesome and so helpful and they gave great suggestions. It is very clean and I think so cozy. There are chairs outside each room and we met some of the other people staying there and just talked.

Very convenient location to downtown Goderich. Unfortunatley when we arrived the attendant told us they didn't have the queen room even though we made a reservation and had a confirmation for our booking. He said they had family and friends in those rooms!!?? He put us in a two double beds room that worked but was not what we had reserved. Also a security deadbolt or latch would be nice on the door. Very dark parking lot late at night and early morning since the lights go off fairly early. Lots of road noise as well. If the mentioned issues were corrected it would have been a better stay!

This is a lovely small hotel with a warm welcoming proprietress. The rooms are clean and the air-conditioning worked very well. The location is central to the town center. Not much open for later evening dining choices but that was not a hotel issue. Just be aware that even on Saturday night this is a town that closes down early - we found Chuck's Roadhouse open after 7 pm but not much else.

This property is walking distance to downtown Goderich, known as the prettiest town in Ontario.
We rode our bikes to the beach, Lake Huron known for its turquoise waters.
The motel room we stayed in was clean, had a fridge, a microwave, coffee and tea. The bed was comfortable, and we loved how the room and bathroom had up to date lighting, flooring, toilet, which were eco friendly. We would definitely return. This was the cleanest , most comfortable room, and obviously newly renovated, we have stayed in! Check inn was a breeze and the owners were lovely people. Easy check in and out!

This motel was terrific. It has been totally redone inside & out and our unit (presume all units) had a frig, microwave, & coffee maker. It was very clean and the family owners couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. We highly recommend it.

The Maple Leaf Motel was exactly what we needed for a short stay in Goderich. The room was clean and comfortable and came with a fridge and a microwave and even some dish soap which would have been very handy if we stayed for longer. They also called me to confirm when we would be arriving and how to check in since the office would be closed at that time.
The motel is literally a 5 minute walk from the town centre and a delicious coffee shop and bakery. Overall i would definitely recommend the Maple Leaf Motel for a place to stay in Goderich.

I liked that they only rented every other room which gave us a sense of assurance that they were doing everything possible to ensure our health. Parking was good. Right next to our room. Friendly owners that helped with any problem we had. Excellent. We will stay there again next year.

Customer service was terrible. They charged me upfront and then threatened to charge me more if my son wet the bed, even though I told them at booking that there would be a child (we asked about mattress protection). Promptly told me that they won't complete any cleaning due to covid. Never staying here again, what a headache.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the room was clean and cozy. The Motel is in an excellent location right near the Town Square with many of the “must sees” within walking distance.
