We had an amazing stay here. It was just a quick stopover, but we will definitely be back! It's such a perfect spot—a beautiful path along the water, close to everything, and so much more to explore than we originally thought, thanks to the owners' recommendations!

Our host was most welcoming, accommodation clean and everything was as we expected. Bed very comfy and decor lovely. Being right by the beach there was a good view and an easy stroll to the jetty to fish plus a few cafes etc.
We booked the family suite as the photo made it appear that there was a separate extra bedroom. This we required for one of us to conduct private telehealth sessions, however the walls don't reach the ceiling and the wide entry has no door - just a note for anyone requiring extra privacy.

This place really is a little jewel on the Coral Coast. It's located directly opposite the most stunning view of the coast, Kelly and Chris are warm and welcoming, and the rooms are immaculate. So, if you're looking for somewhere comfy, clean and convenient to all that the beautiful town of Cardwell has to offer, then you may have just found yourself the best spot in town. Enjoy!

Had s great nights sleep. Fantastic location overlooking the beach. Easy parking. Room a good size with en-suite. Tea/coffee making facilities, cutlery/crockery and decent sized fridge.

Advertised as if it’s a lot better than what it actually is. It’s an old basic motel, that’s it. Yes, one end of the building faces the beach but the rooms do not, you can’t see the beach from any of the rooms I saw. Could be in an old outback shack.

This was a great stopover venue. The location was perfect with easy to walk to sights and the local pub as well as the sound of the ocean to wake up to. The owners are friendly and helpful.

We stayed a night in Cardwell on the drive from Port Douglas to Airlie Beach. Cardwell beach is beautiful with a couple of lovely cafes for breakfast. A few spots for dinner although they do close early!
The studio was perfect for our stay. Kelly and Chris were great hosts ☺️

Had we have known how tiny the room was and for the amount we paid we would've only stayed a night not 2. Barely had room to put a suitcase let alone 2.
The view from the verandah was lovely. The managers friendly. Bed comfortable.
We didn't like the smell of dog poo that wafted into our room. Very noticeable on the day we were leaving luckily.

Well appointed ocean view room directly facing Hinchinbrook Island from common veranda, very friendly and warm welcome by reception staff who provided helpful tips on getting around Cardwell, beautiful room with a comfortable queen-size bed, adequate basic amenities for a two-night stay, fair room rate that won’t break the bank
