Breakfast buffet was good in variety and quality. Sofa bed was uncomfortable and small. Shower was clean but shower enclosure quite small. Staff were polite and helpful. Overall, my family had a pleasant stay.

We liked our stay at this hotel. It was perhaps a 5-6 minute walk to the middle of old town Berchtesgaden, so the location was very friendly and convenient. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff for that was excellent. The person who checked us in was beneficial as well. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Possibly, the only downside was no air conditioning. It wasn't a big issue for late September, but in the middle of summer, it might be something to consider. It is a very comfortable and friendly hotel close to the heart of the old town!

I’m not someone who typically writes reviews but this hotel deserves it. 1. The rooms were incredible. Spotless, serviced daily, and extremely clean. The views also speak for themselves 2. The staff was incredible. Huge shout out to Franz for the great hiking recommendations and overall hospitality. 3. The location is incredible for anyone wanting easy access to anything Berchtesgaden. 4. The breakfast was delicious as well. Tons of selection and great coffee. If I could rate this place higher than 5 stars, I would. Cannot recommend this spot enough.

Our visit was excellent! The owner was so friendly and helpful - I've never had the kind of personable experience of being walked to my room. The hotel room was spacious and the bathroom was amazing with a huge tub. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully displayed. Overall, a unique and wonderful visit. Thank you!!

This hotel has the BEST staff with regard to friendliness, attentiveness, knowledge and helpfulness. We cannot say enough about how well trained they are and the property is in great shape. Everything was done to ensure that the guests have a wonderful time. The breakfasts are filling and have a variety of foods for all tastes. Our room was quiet, clean and had comfortable beds/bedding. I would recommend this hotel for families, couples, and singles. It was very comfortable in all aspects.

We got a whole floor of another building to stay which comprised of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

Stayed over one night on our way west from Innsbruck. This is a 500 yeat old building with a lot of charm. Very well maintained and clean. Close to several restaraunts and shopping. Parking is in the nearby public garage and is 13 euro per night.We didn't eat in the restaraunt but it looked clean and they had a pretty good spread for breakfast. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.We would stay there again on our next visit.

I booked the room on line for 90 euro but was told the price was double when I arrived. I tried to cancel and was charged 75 euro. I won’t book through experian again!

Small feeling hotel a moments walk from the heart of Berchtesgaden. I had a twin room which at first glance seemed small but it was perfect for what I needed. The breakfast in the morning has a large selection and there was enough seating for everyone who needed a place to eat while I was there.

Incredibly hot and humid in the rooms. Minimal airflow. Had to sleep with windows open, which lead onto a shared balcony - so beware potential neighbours wandering in (did not happen), but odd to have a large balcony without clear dividers between about 6 rooms (half dividers for some privacy - unless others can look straight into your room). Overall, I'm not keen to go back. Parking was atrocious, if you weren't parked at the hotel by 4pm, then you wouldn't find a space. They have very few spaces and people will double park you, you won't know who has double parked you either. It's a waiting game. The receptionist seemed a tad intense and I didn't feel at ease with her at all - not a fan. Most of the other staff seemed super friendly and cheery, which helped it be more enjoyable. The room was cleaned on a day, with cleaning stuff left behind and some rubbish just left folded into the bed sheet (I assume both simply by accident, but very odd). We mentioned the shower, which overflowed / leaked if water went onto the glass (mentioned on day 1), but nothing changed. They said they'd send the janitor, but literally nothing changed and nobody spoke to us about what had happened (if anything). The breakfast choice was good, would highly recommend it for that and the beautiful view of course, if in one of the rooms with mountain view. Unfortunately, for the price and service, I wouldn't stay again.
