Really nice hotel. It was not what expected! I was more on the order of a Courtyard Marriott. Nice and clean with updated decor.

The coffee machine in the lobby is the best part! I love that it’s not just plain ole coffee. You have options!

The breakfast was good with a good array of options. The staff was very friendly and engaging. The room was very clean. The tv had a line in it but it did still work. The common area were clean and very updated.

Great overnight travel stay

We waited almost 2 hours for our room to be ready. Room smelled like someone had just cooked their dinner in it when we finally got in it. The bathroom was dirty. Hair on the floor. Urine and hair on the toilet bowl rim. No towels. Desk staff did not answer the phone when we tried to call for towels. When we walked down-staff was playing on social media and was rude when asked for towels. Next day, we did not want towels taken as we doubted we would get fresh ones. Staff took them anyway. And it took all day to get new ones. Staff left our room unlocked after they entered our room to take the towels. No idea how long our things were left unsecured. We did not have a “do not disturb” sign in our room. They also deactivated our room keys in the middle of our stay and we had to get new keys issued. I rarely complain, but the state of the bathroom and our room being left unlocked was beyond belief. We will be in Ruston frequently since we have a student in college there, but we will not book at this hotel again. We had friends staying at the same hotel that also waited HOURS for their room to be ready.

Move in for son at college. Staff was great. I recommend and will be back.

Friendly staff

The front desk was friendly but didn’t mention breakfast to me I had to ask. But she was very helpful later on when I had a problem in my room. The room was clean and large. Breakfast was ok not much available. There were coffee and cups in my room but no coffee pot. Overall great hotel.

Great hotel and much nicer than other competitors of a higher caliber. My room was one of two where I could not change the air temp. The 68° was great for sleep but a bit chilly in the morning. (Its summer so the air was on). The breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. The staff was nice and helpful.

Late Thursday night when I checked in there was a man just standing at the check in desk for no apparent reason. It kind of creep me out. I wished the staff would have ask him to stand elsewhere until I was done.

In the room we stayed in shower backed up and the water was yellow. Moved to a different room and the TV didn't work there. We stayed at this hotel in July and it was horrible as well. The staff is friendly the place is not up to par.

The gentlemen at the desk was very courteous and good customer service.

My stay was okay I don’t think I will be staying there again. Front desk service was amazing , my first room wasn’t clean to my liking I was given a new room it was decent . But the water didn’t drain so that was horrible. It was hair in my sheet ..The towel policy I just don’t understand. You have to leave your towels outside by 9 . I handed them to the housekeeper lady directly waited around 12 noon no new towels . Had to go the first desk was told just one housekeeper today she was doing everything bare with her so I did. Came back around 3:30 still no towels in my room . Had to let front desk know at this point this is unacceptable I understand been short staffed but can I have some towels. The young lady was understanding and provided me with the towel . Overall this is my 3rd time staying there and it wasn’t the same as before .

Staff was amazing. Room was very clean and stocked. Will definitely stay here again.

Jason checked us in and recommended a good restaurant in the area. Breakfast was good. Hot water was only warm, not hot.

Nice place to stay!

The shower in our room was dirty. There were several brown and black smudges throughout the shower. Management dismissed my concerns.

Everything was good, just under staffed and the towel situation was a joke. Also not cleaning the rooms or changing the linens unless requested and even then it might not happen is ridiculous. And I checked in Tues. and saw the same food scraps in the hall way for at least 3 days. The showhead pressure isn't good either..

The location was perfect for its proximity to my event and the area was close to shopping and restaurants.

The noise of kids screaming and stomping at 2 am was quite unpleasant. Additionally, dealing with poor drainage that resulted in standing in ankle-deep water during a shower was frustrating. The effects of having too few staff members were noticeable in the quality of customer service that was delivered.

Enjoyed my stay. Had a great breakfast selection.

Very convenient and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff

We liked being close to Tech’s campus where we played baseball. We did not like that it was hard to get towels for the pool, breakfast items were not refilled promptly, and they were rather slim.

Lack of a few things, didn’t notify me that pool was closed before booking but overall it was clean.

It was good in town on business but had breakfast wish there was an iron with ironing board but that’s not a problem!

The lobby where breakfast is served is especially spacious but doesn't have a TON of seating, got a little crowded at peak times. Very clean serve-yourself areas for food/beverages. The coffee machine is extra nice, lots of tasty choices including cafe latte. We were disappointed that the outdoor pool was closed.
