I did not like the lavatory being next to the door. Also I did not the lack of closet space. I preregistered on line and the front desk did not the info when I checked in. I realize the a big event was in town however I think the rate on this room was over priced

Our stay was very pleasant. Property was clean and quiet and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were very good compared to other hotel chains I've used before. Overall I would highly recommend this property

Staff was very courteous and the hotel has some recent upgrades to rooms.

Travel to family reunion nearby. Bookings were difficult that weekend and your property was a little distant than we've booked in the past. However, things were mostly fine. Evidently, the property is undergoing remodeling.....not a problem. Price/value were a bit more than I anticipated, however a weekend at a resort area in prime time......it is what you should expect.

Fine hotel but a bit unclean in bathroom and windows.

The rooms are not very sound proof. Can hear conversations outside and in hallways from the room. I love the power shades!

It was a nice place to stay while we were in the area. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.

Rooms were extremely clean and beds were very comfortable. The morning breakfast received an “A+” rating from my high school and college aged boys.

Remodeled rooms are very nice! Love that there is a pizza place and Sushi right next door! Would definitely stay here again. Very good value for the money.

I order a Handicap room and got a email after I got there ,there was none so the wheel chair was so backed in the room we couldn't get around and the toliet was so low and the show tub was to dangerous I couldn't give my husband a shower all weekend

Property is located close to lots if shopping and restaurants.

My room seemed newly updated however the tub surround was peeling away from the wall.

It seemed like the property was newly remodeled and the rooms were much brighter. Nothing I can think of that I didn’t like.

The shower, bathroom & mini fridge were very dirty. I cleaned them with Clorox when I arrived.

Everything went super for us. The front clerk even helped get our suitcases upstairs to our room.

The hotel was in good shape. It's under construction in parts, but will be awesome when that is done.

Window leaked so it was super cold in there. Very friendly gentleman at the front desk. Hallway smelled of marijuana

This hotel is in major need of a remodel, which they are doing. Construction noise went into the evening with hammering making it sound like some one was at the door. Would not recommend staying until it is done. Temperature in the room as awful to regulate, the fridge froze our drinks solid, the walls in the hallway were banged up and even had holes, the room itself was very small and dingy. There was paint runs in the bathroom and the tile looked filthy. Breakfast was substandard compared to other breakfasts in this class of hotel. Finally, the sign out front said rooms available for 105 a night. We paid $35 more and the excuse was they hadn’t updated the sign from three days prior. Ultimately, the sheets looked clean, but that is about the only positive thing I would say about this stay.

The staff was welcoming, friendly, helpful. Anytime we're in Brainerd and need a room we'll stay at the Americ Inn!!

breakfast was not up to par

There was construction going on and the hammering and pounding was so loud it gave me a migraine the first afternoon and started at 7 am the next morning I’m glad they are remodeling because it’s dark and dingy but they should have just closed for a few weeks rather than try to operate that way
