This is a good hotel for a fair price. The included breakfast is not something that you’re going to get fat on(!), but it was still a good thing to have. The bed in our room was surprisingly comfortable. I had one of my best nights’ sleep in a very long time. The linen on the bed was good. However, the condition of the towels was a bit lacking. Still, for the price of the room, I’m not complaining too much. The decor is okay but nothing fancy. Again, it’s the bathroom where things are not the best they could be. And again, for the price, I can’t complain too much. When writing a review, I always ask myself if I would stay here again. For this hotel, my answer is yes.

Good location with easy off street parking. The room was really spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was one of the best I have experienced in accommodation lately. The only downside I could find was the utensils were a bit tired, the jug to fill the kettle was broken, cutlery was a bit light on. Also, it was a bit odd that there was a toaster, butter and spreads provided with the cereal for breakfast, but no bread…

No continental breakfast supplied, the room and bathroom were grubby and the beds were uncomfortable. We booked and paid for 2 nights but left after 1. A lack of customer service. Would not recommend.

The restaurant and food, delicious. The older lady who booked us in was excellent. Couldn’t be more helpful or polite. The air conditioning outdated and didn’t work properly. The room hadn’t been serviced correctly. Also the room was advertised as a queen bed, but was a double bed.

Off street parking, staff helpful and friendly, room comfortable, fluffy towels. Breakfast included (forgot bread), porridge, juice and coffee. Central location.

Noisy for a half hour after the pub closed after eleven. No wifi. Room had seen much better days.

Perfect restaurant and bar in the same building. Easy to check up. Hotel is in city centre, easy to access shops. Tiny room. Furniture is quite old, but for 1 night its not a big deal. I would stay again. Easy parkintg.

The pub is old and has history. Probably has not been renovated for years, but thats to be expected. Great Staff. They were very thorough with the qr code checkins. The room was clean, and there was a little breakfast left for us.It was all that we needed on our stay in Tumut.

Great central location in town. Wonderful hot showers. Bed in serious need of replacement, it sagged in the middle and was bouncy like a trampoline. The quality and quantity of the included breakfast was poor.

The Thai food in the restaurant was excellent. There was also great live music in the bar but I had work to do and the internet was down

You can’t go past the value and convenience of the Commercial and the Thai kitchen is a nice treat for dinner
