Very clean and family friendly, the cottage was perfect for our family. We only stayed one night but it would be great for a few nights or a week at the beach!

Two night stay for day hikes and the coast. We booked a king room with kitchen so we could prepare and eat breakfasts in the room. Nice decor, spacious, and a full kitchen with a leather couch. Even had washer dryer. But wait: NO TABLE AND CHAIRS! So four stars instead of 5. Seems reasonable to expect a simple table and two chairs for eating when we booked a room with kitchen. Staff said room not advertised as having a table and chairs (?!). Also said someone broke the table and/or chair(s). Sorry, no excuses please. That said, we still recommend this place but suggest first confirming a table and chairs if you get a kitchen room.

Very friendly person for check in who provided recommendations for dining that were great. Room was as pictured and had everything we needed including a comfortable bed.

I thought I already did this, but I would like to reiterate my last post if it did not post. I booked a double king suite for two nights. I spent almost $600. When I arrived, the staff was very nice. When I got to my room, I immediately realized that the front window did not lock, but it was behind the tv, so I didn’t pay much attention to it. I did however realize that there was no couch, or chair, but a built in platform with a mattress pad on top. There was a little kitchen and refrigerator, but then I noticed that there were no doors to either bedroom, but rather they had put up curtain rods with shower curtains to close off the bedrooms. Once I related the situation to the rest of my family, I called the office to ask for them to rectify the situation. They proceeded to try to upsell me to a room that did not have AC, or king beds. I spoke with the owner, and he refused to do anything, so I contacted Expedia. Expedia was only able to negotiate a refund for one night, so as I didn’t want to lose almost $300 dollars, my family and I were forced to stay there for the night. Please do not give these people your money. The place is substandard, and I am simply trying to keep anyone from making the same mistake that I did. All my best, & good luck

Clean and roomy

This was a great place to stay with my family overnight. The room was very cute and clean. There was reusable glasses and plates with helps cut down on single use plastic, even the coffee pods were compostable! The bed was comfortable and it was a decent distance from the ocean. Friendly staff and parking right outside your door. We will be staying here again.

We got lucky and we’re able to last minute upgrade to a larger space for our family of 5. They were extremely quick to help us when we needed anything. I would absolutely stay here again!!!

Very clean. Comfortable beds. Loved the kitchen. Allowing check in earlier than 4pm would be nice. The only seating was at the kitchen table, otherwise you have to sit on the bed.

The barrel out front made it difficult for parking with a large truck. There should be a designated place for smokers.

Staff accommodated a smooth transition of rooms due to arriving with a pet and error on my part. You even receive a welcome bag with goodies for the whole family and four legged friend.

The stay at the Anchorage Motel was a positive experience. They were very communicative and check-in was easy. I was pleasantly surprised to get a goody bag full of treats and a bottle of water. The room was spotless and smelled really fresh. I was delighted to see a microwave oven and a Keurig coffee maker along with a refrigerator. There were designated parking spaces for each room so there was no issue with parking. Check out was super easy. I would definitely stay there again.

Great little place! My room had a kitchenette and was very cozy. Could not me happier with my decision to stay there. 1/4 mile walk to the beach

I really liked the room. If anything I would have really liked a couple of more squishy pillows. I'm short - and the pillows were a bit high and didn't squish down. However, I'll bring my own pillow next time. I liked the place. Miki Charlton

For a roadside motel, it exceeded expectations. Clean and comfortable and updated inside.

It is the cutest little motel and they gave the perfect welcome bag when I arrived. It was full of local treats which I thought was a nice touch. Service was great!!
