Lovely little hotel in a lovely little town!

The owner and staff made us feel comfortable and welcome. It is smaller than the standard hotel and thus has more “homey” feel to it. It’s right in the center of Cold Spring, near all restaurants, shopping, etc. Will definitely stay again.

Cold Spring is a great place to visit for hikes or walks. The Cold Spring Hotel is a great base for these and other activities. 2nd time staying there, and great experience each time.

Great location in the middle of town and short walking distance to all restaurants and shopping. The owner was very nice, inviting and helpful. The room layouts were a bit odd, and our room (#6) was on the first floor directly behind the store. The room itself had no windows, but a narrow hallway that led to nothing except 2 windows at the end. The bed was good, and not having the windows meant we actually slept pretty well. The space had been recently renovated so everything was well made and all new, but soundproofing was not great and I could hear our neighbors talking and snoring.

A cute little place right on Main Street! Jimmy was so hospitable and made us feel welcome and taken care of. Close to restaurants and hikes. Snacks and coffee are available for free. We had a lovely stay.

Conveniently located to the train station and the village of Cold Spring. Quiet stay, kind and friendly staff.

A warm welcome awaited us from Jimmy on arrival. The room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. It was nice to have the choice of little snacks and water he'd left out for us and if we ate in his cafe we got a great discount. Cold Spring is charming and there is lots to do, great for a short break away

The owner of the nice, simple hotel is incredibly nice and helpful. Rooms in the back was noisy with outside sound.

Not really a hotel. Did not deserve its stars. No glass, no hand towels or wash cloths. Towels indifferently hung. Bed indifferently made. Minimal breakfast items. Nice people.
