Wonderful hotel, great service, great location and must try restaurant terrace

Amazing Art Deco jewel near shore of lake Garda with exceptional restaurant.

Wonderful hotel unique in its decor. Love the new rooms compared to the old traditional style which might not be to everyone’s taste. Great staff and beautiful breakfast.

Given a can of deodorant to cover room smell. The bathroom had a terrible smell. We asked to move rooms but were told that there were none available, which was clearly not the case as they have all the room keys on display (this was at midnight so more than likely everyone was in their rooms). We were also given a nice table over looking the lake for breakfast, but after going to the buffet, another guest sat at the table and the staff decided that we were the ones that should be moved. It felt as though we were being treated differently because we were 40 years younger than the rest of the guests. Hotel is beautiful inside & out, the breakfast is great and it's in a lovely spot, however unless you're 75 on a coach tour, you can likely find somewhere better... If you do stay in the area, go to Ristorante Pizzeria Papillon!

Amazing location with views of the lake while having an excellent breakfast. Service and cleanliness exceptional with 3 min walk to the centre of Salo. Front desk , Dinning room and room service can’t fault at all. Just great value. Will stay there from now on when going to lake Garda.

Hotel Laurin in Salò was truly stunning. A combination of beautifully preserved original features throughout the building, together with very tastefully decorated rooms, fitted with high quality bathrooms and furniture. The staff could not have be more attentive, yet still maintaining a perfectly relaxed atmosphere. Ten out of ten! I would also highly recommend an evening dining in the delicious Magnolia restaurant overlooking the lake. A fabulous hotel that really made our holiday to Italy that little bit more special.

Facilities were beautiful. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant and services were absolutely lovely.

An exceptional hotel, the property is stunning throughout with a great history which the super helpful and friendly staff are happy to share with you. Excellent rooms that are beautifully appointed, and the hotels location is excellent with no more than 10 minutes walk to Salo town centre. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone.

This booking was a special treat and it exceeded all our expectations. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The building is exceptional with facilities to match. Nothing was too much a problem with exceptional service without being "too much". Breakfast was wonderful with the weather being warm enough to take it out on the terrace with views of the lake. OK it is not cheap but sometimes if you can afford to spend a little extra it is worth the expense. The pool and grounds were spotless with plenty of sunbeds available at all times. We did not eat in the restaurant for dinner as Salo promenade is only five minutes walk away. If you are thinking of booking here do not hesitate.

Loved everything about this hotel. Fantastic hotel; very helpful staff; great food; convenient location; comfortable rooms. One of the few properties that truly deserve a 10 on 10.

It is just what we needed - easy in and out, old world charm, walking distance to shops and lakefront dining, just down the street from the Rivera - take the bus for easy access as parking on the lake can be a challenge. Guest at the hotel were from DE, US, GB, FR, etc so an international clientele. It was just what we needed after stops in the big city - not too isolated but quiet.

We stayed here for one night and it was perfect. The location is great for exploring the beautiful town of Salo - just a short walk away - and the hotel itself is incredibly charming, authentically Italian, and beautifully maintained. The staff were amazing, the breakfast was excellent, and the pool area was super relaxing. I was sad we only had one night to be honest.
