Selfa is a great host! A great value-for-money option in Varadero. Close to almost everything. Just 10 minutes walk to the Viazul bus station.

The owners of the Casa are super nice and will help you with everything you need. They will offer better exchange rate for your USD/EUR, do your laundry and give you the low down on where is good to eat. On top of this they are just really nice people that we enjoyed meeting. We felt at home here.

We stayed for 4 nights and we recommend Hostal Selfa to everyone. Selfa is very hospitable, the room is extremely clean and spacious, the location is central and very close to the beach, the terrace of the room is a bonus. Thank you Selfa!

My friend and I stayed at Selfa's place for two nights and it was wonderful. Selfa herself helped coordinate our taxi ride from Havana to Varadero and Varadero to the airport on our way out. She served delicious breakfasts in the morning and sat and chatted with us. She gave us really great recommendations for food and directions to access the local tourist bus. Her place is very clean and welcoming. The room was spacious and the bathroom was functional and attached to the room. There was even a balcony and a separate living room-type area next door to the bedroom. I would highly recommend Hostal Selfa for friends traveling together, couples, or even families!

Selfa is a lovely lady who made us very welcome. I can't recommend this place enough, we absolutely loved it and were so sad to leave. We particularly loved the roof terrace and Selfa's amazing breakfasts, so much so that we wanted to return towards the end of our trip but unfortunately there was no availability. If we go back to Varadero again we will definitely stay with Selfa. The beach is so close too, and there are shops, bars and restaurants nearby too. Selfa's place is absolutely perfect.

Selfa is an amazing host -- very warm and welcoming! She made us breakfast every morning and helped us get a taxi to the airport at the end of our stay. Highly recommended!!!

We had a really nice stay. The owners are very kind and the breaks fast was really good! Also was it possible for us the have the breakfast as lunch and change some money. The owners were very helpful. Location was good, close to the beach.

Selfa was really nice and helpful. The room is comfortable and equipped with TV, A/C, and fridge. The beach is 2 minutes from the property. We loved our stay here.

Selfa, Dianelys and Alejandro were the most hospitable, friendly and helpful hosts we have come across here in Cuba. Their place was beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast was huge, affordable and the best breakfast we had here in Cuba. The room was spacious, cool and well worth the money. They had great suggestions for food including El Toro. Other good places to eat locally were Don Alex, Cafe Quitrin and Palmares. Please stay here, you will not regret it!

I would give 3 stars for the friendliness. They did try to help me out too. It is a family home and near the main part of varadero however you can walk varadero in 40 minutes. It s clean.
All you get is a small bar of soap.
No WIFI access despite the property information( though it said it had)
two channel on telly (doesnt work)
The actual owner does not really speak english and you would be lucky to find the people who does

We had a warm welcome and were happy to stay with Selfa and her family. We would come back on every time. Thank you very much for the fantastic breakfast and all the other things.

Great experience, the room is always kept tidy and clean. Good refrigeration system. Personnel always kind and available to meet guests' needs.
