Was looking for juat 1 night to stay at last min. However this place was very bad and had roaches. Small baby ones and few larger. The tv was all static and could hardly see the picture. Not to mintion from 1990. The sofa springs were right under my butt. Couldnt sit down Very poor condition also the door had a huge cap around the whole thing lizzards came in.

Booked through Expedia on our way to the Florida Keys because are room was cancelled by another hotel due to overbooking. I booked it and then get email that check in ends at 10:30 pm and we were not getting there until midnight. I called the hotel right after booking within 8 minutes to see if they could leave key somewhere and the girl that answered the phone so no and that they would not check us in nor would I get my money back even know it was within 10 minutes from the time I booked. Plus, it’s not noted online that it ends at 10:30 pm until you book. Horrible way to do business and treat people. also it was a little after 10 pm so the room shouldn’t even have popped up to rent if they were closing soon.

Stayed here after a few days of camping. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well-located. Nothing luxurious but very nice. I would definitely stay again!

Was in terrible shape. Needs to be gutted and redone or torn down.

Everything it was excellent the only concern it’s about breakfast, They should be given another type of breakfast, other than that amazing hotel.

We liked the bed, very comfy. We like the A/C, very cold.

The room is the opposite of the online photos. Old, smelled, furniture was thrown together, bath was old and worn at best, everything needs updated. Not a place I’ll stay again. You have been warned

Shower valves leaked, the doors have been repaired, could not even check in early, parking far from room. Stay somewhere else. The best way to fix the problems is tp tear it down and start over.

Property (inside & out) did not look like pictures at all!! The room nor the surrounding property have been kept up (it looks like for about 25-30 yrs!) Multiple ceramic floor tiles were missing in the bathroom, tub was in bad shape, faucets too! No outlet in bathroom! All door & window frames were in terrible disrepair & have needed updating/maintenance for years! Blinds were broken! Beds seemed clean but will never stay there again!

Beds are comfortable and AC is great. Affordable. Would stay again. Breakfast is a nice benefit.

Well maintained older style hotel. Staff was very pleasant, room was nice.

The area is very convenient for leisure and tourism but the conditions of the property, bathtub, sink, mattress were old, outdated, rusty. Towels were very small and they smell old.

I hate giving poor reviews...but we left a day early. But there is definitely a place for motels like this and folks who are on a tight budget. It's livable in that sense. The people were nice. The bed was comfortable and the TV worked. Loved the pool.

Needed a place to stay on bike trip from key west to Miami… nothing fancy but comfortable and inexpensive. Person at front desk was super helpful. Gave me some juice and yogurt since I was leaving before 730 breakfast.

The hotel is old and run down. It needs some repairs and upgrades. The pool is nice but it needs to be cleaned more regularly due to its location. The free breakfast is just generic honey buns and apple juice. The pluses are the linens were cleaned and staff are pleasant.

Mosquito infested room!!! Awful experience! Very dirty room! I found 2 dead roaches during my 2 nights stay. My dress fell from the hanger and had smudges of dust and dirt all over from the carpet that had never been vacuumed, I guess?

We stayed in room 117 , extremely outdated, walls had water stains , very small tv. Front desk was super kind and helpful .

I guess I may be a little bougie, but now I understand why the price was so good to be true! I felt very unsafe as the door was all cracked and just held up with a piece of plank wood. The bathroom was falling apart, so luckily I didn’t have to, stay at that place long enough to take a shower!

Given a few terrible reviews i was a worried about my stay. Now, that I have, i have to say there was no reason to worry. First of all hotels in the area were twice to six times as much. For a a stay of less than 12 hours i had no interest in spending hundreds of dollars. I think the bad reviews may have been left by individuals who would have been better served shelling out more money, While the hotel could certainly benefit from a refresh (especially the door & fridge in my room (#203), here are the plusses: - very friendly check-in attendant - clean room and mid/century bathroom - good channel selection on TV - continental breakfast more than adequate - in-room coffee

I would like to just make my "opinion comments" on a few things. Your check-in girl was amazing. Your breakfast person needs to lighten up. I don't see the problem but here is the scenario: I wanted a bottle of cold water at breakfast. I don't do the coffee or juice. She wouldn't substitute a bottle of cold water from the fridge. There was water and an ice cooler. Sorry - but I'm not taking ice from that cooler. - It is not secure in any way. You had a sign above it, but that was a grain of salt in my eyes.It was not tamper proof. So then she brought out a small bottle of warm water. I was really thirsty for cold water, so I declined that too. Really - think about it - is 1 bottle of cold water more expensive than coffee or juice. I kind of think not, but that is my opinion. Your facilities - for the age of the property - are nostalgic and ok. I didn't mind staying there. However - You need to replace your washcloths. The one I used, was threadbare and totally used up. I wish I had just thrown it in the trash myself.

The hotel is very old, and is in bad condition, the photos you see online are a “fake”(the fotos are made 20 years ago), at present the hotel is very deteriorated and in urgent need of renovation.
