Amazing place highly recommend!!

Everyone is very nice and are kind. They're so nice here and make sure your stay is comfortable and accomadating. It's so beautiful and sunsets and sunrises are gorgeous

El Sunzal And El Tunco surfing is excellent. This hotel is smack dab in the middle of it.

This is a boutique property for the discernible surfer. Best location and access to the surf. Food and services are excellent. I will be back soon.

Hotel property was nice but the beach area has too many rocks for anyone to enjoy the ocean or walk barefoot along the beach

Weather was incredible! The hotel and the staff was amazing! The food in the hotel was delicious! The cleanliness of the room and air conditioning was perfect. I would definitely stay here again. Also, very convenient location for the surfing events. As it is right next door to where the championship is held. Excellent hotel.

Since we arrived , The staff was amazing accommodating us for all we need . From the person who was taking care of the gate to the last person who helped us with the last drinks . I want to thank specially a David de Paz and Brian for letting us use the room for the work zoom meeting we needed to attend. I don’t have more words to express how thankful we are with them . The beach was amazing and the easy access to it was perfect . Definitely will comeback again .

This wonderful hotel is situated on a world class surf break. Need I say more? The staff is top notch and on our second visit, were greeting with many of the same faces that recognized us with welcoming smiles. Thank you! We will be back!

I’m a big fan of Casa De Mar. The staff couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. There’s a wonderful surf break right in front. However, like most surf spots these days, it’s staring to get a bit crowded. Also, rooms are spacious with excellent, quiet air conditioning.

I have been coming to casa de mar for the last five years, their customer attention is exeptional, peaceful, clean and a great surfing spot. I’ll keep coming here whenever i visit el salvador.

Excellent across all aspects: staff friendliness and professionalism receive top marks, as well as location, food, state of the property, amenities - everything! Highly recommended both for a seaside holiday and as a base for exploring El Salvador.

Love this place. Second time we have been. The hotel is a great place to watch the surfers and get a cold beer. Amazing view of the sunset as well.

This is a cozy, clean, well-maintained resort on a beautiful end of the El Sunzal beach, close enough to walk to the beach and to the shops in El Tunco, but far enough away to provide quiet and a sense of privacy. The landscaping is fantastic. The food is excellent and, again, can be enjoyed with a wonderful view of the famous El Tunco surf. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to welcome you and help you. This is the third time that I have stayed at Casa de Mar, and I am looking forward to coming back!

Everything is excellent except for the fact that one cannot flush toilet paper it has to be put in a garbage bin. It would be good to know this advance. The staff, the food, cleanliness is all excellent

Very goof

First and last time I will stay here. They mentioned only up to 3 per room and tried charging us for an extra person to stay with us (I have never seen a hotel ever do this) Lastly, upon looking at the receipts, they snuck in that we drank 20 beers and 1 piña colada and had it charged to the room when we did not order anything besides water and soda. Overall, disappointed with my stay.

This place is so overpriced! Being next to the ocean was nice but not worth the price. My room was very outdated and even had a blood stain on the wall. There were some kind of ant looking bugs crawling on the walls too. But the worst part was that my shower hot and cold were backwards so I assumed no hot water and had to take cold showers. The staff wasn’t very friendly to me. I sat for several hours at the pool and was never offered a drink like every one else sitting around me. When other people walked up the stairs from the beach they were greeted with bottles of water but when I came back from the beach and was rinsing off one of the staff members was asking my room number as if I was sneaking in. Don’t waste your money staying here

I was very excited to stay at Casa De Mar since I saw so many great reviews. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with our stay. To begin, I’ve had the opportunity to stay in many places in El Salvador that have been both great and bad, but this stay was not the best in our opinion. Upon our arrival, we noticed that the door was left completely open. This allowed mosquitoes and other bugs inside the room. As we got ready, we noticed that our linens had several stains. Initially, it was the towels, but when we uncovered the bed sheets, there were more stains. In addition, we booked our room with an ocean view, but we’re displeased to see that our view was covered by vegetation. What made this experience worse was noticing that the curtains were too small for the large windows. Normally we wouldn’t make a big fuss about this, but employees kept walking by which gave them an easy look inside our room. We felt that we didn’t have privacy. This was a similar case with the toilet room. Anyone walking by can look inside to see you using the restroom. Furthermore, we found multiple cob webs and spiders in the room. We spent a good amount of money for this stay and were surprised by the unpleasant experience. The property is beautiful and the employees were helpful to accommodate some of our needs. Overall, I don’t think we will be returning, but hope other guests have a better experience

If you are looking for a relaxing stay on the Sunzal Point this is the perfect property. The food was fresh, the drinks cold, the service incredible and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. I will be coming back with my friends to surf and my family in the future. It was perfect.
