The couple who own the place was very nice. The wife made breakfast for everyone every morning. Our room was not that great. The bathroom looked like it might have been a closet converted to a bathroom. It was hard to take a shower because there was no wall mount for the shower hose and no shower curtain so water sprayed all around at times. There were two small holes under each window which I didn’t notice till the second day. Not sure what they were for but we felt unsafe because anyone could look through them and see straight towards the beds so I stuffed them with paper. Outside of the windows was the terrace where any of the guests could sit. Overall we will not stay there again and wouldn’t recommend the hotel to our friends and fam.

Location was great the owner was very attentive and provided authentic continental Greek food she was away when we arrived and kindly left her info in case we had any questions. I will definitely go back and stay there in the near future

The staff is not so helpful, the sink leaks water every time I use it, the location is excellent, close to everything you need in Santorini.

Very disappointed with stay. Property difficult to find. Maps app had property in a parallel laneway, 2 lanes away. Despite numerous phone calls with property vontact, he was unable to explain where property was. Asked his grandfather, from property, to come abd meet me.
Hot water system imsufficient for property as no hot water for a morning shower, tepid at best.
The only flat surfaces were the fridge and bed side table.
Only able to open one wardrobe door, as bed in front of door
. Several power points were 2m up the wall
The aged parents were friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay if you’re in oía and on a budget. Very friendly family owned place! So quaint and cute.

Location of the place is very good, not in the busy, crowded area of tourists passing by, the terrace is very good too to be witnessing the sunsets. However, we’re disappointed about the bathroom, no shower curtains installed to keep water from getting all over the floor, creating floodings. The water wasn’t warm anymore especially for showers on our second night. The hostesses were nice, baked cake and made hot chocolates for breakfast.

Only stayed one night to see the sunset on their terrace. The owners were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble.

Marcos Rooms is a great place to stay. It’s right in the middle of everything. The room is clean. Anything that we needed we were provided. The owners were very nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying there and would definitely stay there again.

The owner was really nice, always made us coffee with fresh baked cake and toast in the morning, easy to communicate and very understanding with minor issues that arose during our stay. Heads up though, they do turn off the water heater late at night so if you are a late-shower type of person, its fine as long as you do it before midnight and if you shower early (before 7) just knock at the owner’s house and they will turn on the water heater. Again, very easy to communicate plus its in such a great location, walking distance to everything, not exactly on the oia cliff but 2 minute walk from the cliff. If you take the upstairs room, it gives ocean views.

Very homely. The owner lives in the premises and is always available. We were able to use the terrace to have a private dinner while watching the sunset.

Our room was small. Dirty. Shower was 3 feet high. No shower door. We had to kneel to shower. Not enjoyable.

Amazing experience in Marcos Rooms! The room was exactly what was booked ( with hot water, air conditioner, etc) and the service was more than awesome. The lady from the hotel is lovely and helpful, she booked our transfer for Domaine Sigalas and also helped us going to the Kamari Beach! The hotel is also beautiful and very calm.I totally recommend it!

The location is amazing and very on budget for an overrated place like Santorini. The whole place is authentic and feels like a nostalgic grandparents place from a happy childhood, which it is, in a way. My room was clean, charmingly simple, with an out of time touch. Marco and his wife were wonderful hosts. I particularly enjoyed a cup of tea with a piece of cake in the morning and a fantastic sunset view (shhh, it's the best kept secret!)

We visited just two days back and really liked it. The way she treated us, the breakfast, friendly behavior, the cleaning room - everything were just awesome. It's budget hotel. But it doesn't have any pool.

Very well located. Right in the heart of Oía. Sunset view from the hotel terrace. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Really good value for the price!

Host and hostess were absolutely friendly and warm. We arrived very early in the morning, and the owner offered free breakfast while we were waiting for our room to be ready. Room is basic, but the stay was amazing amd excellent location in Oia. Excellent view from the room top for the famed subset. Enjoyed

The beds where old and very uncomfortable, Windows and doors where very insecure and rattled in the wind, we didn't get any warm water until the very last day of our 5 night stay. People where noisy in the neighboring rooms in the mornings. Pleased to get away

The people were nice but we didn't have hot water for 3 showers...kept getting excuses it was very frustrating. Easy access to Oia though.
