Nice stay overall! Had issue with the TV not working in the room due to a connection issue, besides that stay was good!

This experience at this Marriott location was deeply disappointing and falls far below the expected standards of the brand. Firstly, the property seems to have only a limited number of suites, and the cleanliness of these rooms was concerning. The tub in our suite still had a visible dirt ring and was difficult to clean due to a slow-draining issue that left standing water. Additionally, the showerhead was taped in place, making it impossible to adjust, forcing us to shower at an awkward angle. The condition of the furniture was equally troubling. The couch appeared unclean, with random nuts and bolts found under the ottoman that didn't seem to belong to anything. The refrigerator and freezer were covered in dust and hadn't been cleaned inside. A dirty dish was left in the dishwasher, and the floors were sticky, yet no mop was available when requested. The nightstands and phone were both dusty and sticky, with evidence of something spilled on them that had not been properly cleaned. The carpet showed signs of a poorly executed patch job. Given the reputation and price point of the Marriott brand, this was one of the worst experiences I've had. It's especially unacceptable that both suites we booked were in such poor condition, with one even lacking pillowcases on the pillows. For a brand of this caliber, the level of cleanliness and attention to detail was shocking and disappointing.

I GOT ROOM 2002, AND CUD NOT SLEEP IN THE NIGHT BECAUSE OF THE FWY BEING RIGHT OUTSIDE, THE NOISE OF CARS UP AND DOWN WERE DISTURBING. OUR FRIENDS WHO STAYED IN ROOM 404, SIMILAR TO. MINE MOVED OUT TH E NEXT DAY TO THE MARRIOTT RESIDENCES. I CHOSE TO STAY AND PUT UP WITH THE HINDERANCE.

Property was convenient to several restaurants and shopping areas. Rooms were clean. We went down for breakfast our first morning, listed as ‘til 10am per the website, and the staff were rapidly cleaning around 930. Borderline annoyed we were in their way. We mentioned it to the staff at the desk who pointed to their paper posting that said it was until 930 am, said it had been that way for 5 years. When we showed them the website, he remarked, “is that this location?” To which we replied it was. No Apology, no sorry for any misunderstanding, nothing. For Marriott to have built their reputation on customer service, this wasn’t up to par.

Friendly staff, clean room, and an adequate continental breakfast make this a great place to stay!

I thought Towneplace Suites was just ok ,a little outdated and rooms where old and dirty and breakfast was just ok .

Rooms smelled terrible and the upkeep of the building is horrible staff was nice

This was the first time I’ve stayed here and was disappointed. This was the smallest studio room I’ve been in. The air was working properly after we went to bed. I called downstairs and was told there was no one to check it, so at 1something in the am I had to go to the car to get my fan. At this time the young lady gave me batteries to put in hoping that would help the thermostat. It did not. I’ve stayed here so many times but this trip was not it. Overall it is really a nice hotel. Located in a great spot. Everything you need is a short drive away.

From the outside, this property looks very inviting and promising. However, once inside it was so filthy and it smelled terrible. Nothing we could do, because it was already paid for! Our room was tiny and disgusting! Dead flies everywhere, and one on the bed! The counters all felt greasy and the mirror was filthy! At one point my husband turned on the kitchen sink and water leaked everywhere from under the counter! The bathroom had dried bugs and “other” dried things on the walls too! Morning couldn’t have come fast enough!

Studio king was nice. I requested room service twice. I never received room service. I had to get clean towels daily. I found a beer bottle u Dee my bed. Very disappointed.

Washers and dryers didn’t work half the time, pool was dirty.

First room assigned to us was not clean. Maggots was on the headboard, trash was under the bed. Requested a second room and it was decent at best as far as cleanliness. Would have loved a discount or some sort of credit…

Large rooms, location central to freeways

The staff was very helpful and helped solve issues with room.

Thermostat on AC unit was not working, stuck on 61 degrees.

Initial room adjacent to major highway. After awake all night from noise, requested a move to another room. They mentioned at the time of this request, that many people request a different room when placed near the highway. The new room, had no pan or spatula as in the previous room for the extended stay purpose of this hotel. In addition, the microwave was not working, multiple lightbulbs were burnt out, the toilet paper rack was falling off the wall, the bathtub drain was clogged, and there was a toothpick under the cushion of the chair. Requested the next day for the microwave to be repaired, and obtain a spatula and frying pan. Neither occurred over the course of the five day stay. No further acknowledgment of any of our requests made. Garbage bags that we were instructed to leave in the hallway for were not picked up for over 24 hours on at least one occasion. Overall, the hotel is poorly maintained, and poorly managed. An overall very disappointing experience after a pleasant stay at the Ocala Florida location of this hotel. The difference clearly related to management.

Everything was great! Clean, nicely laid out and the staff were amazing. Thumbs up to the gentleman who checked us in. The breakfast was also very good.

This stay was one of the worse experiences I’ve had. The staff was not rude but the conditions were atrocious. The first room smelled like urine and smoke cocktail. The next room because I couldn’t sleep with that smell was not much better. It had more ants than I could count, the ac was out in half the room, and food was left in the microwave. The carpert just needs to be done over as well. This is my first review but I believe it is necessary for improvements to be made. I have children and I will be more careful to see reviews although this place had descent reviews.

Where to begin. First room had bugs, large urin stains and a sticky floor and odd odor - like they tried to spray something to cover it up. The second was much better but still an odd odor like a smokers room with a fresher spray. However this room had no cooking utensils nor a pan with a lid. I took the room expecting hey would send up as I requested the pans and utensils. For a week I had continued to ask and 3 days in I finally got a spoon - was rusty and a very small pot barely big enough to boil an egg, no lid. I also asked for towels as the room only had a single towel. They gave me two towels and no shower mat hand towel or wash cloth. Then here it is Sunday morning and I had enough. I told the front desk the whole thing, a week gone by and with 3 request the room trash not emptied, room not cleaned, no towels, no cookware. Now it is 5 pm and I am sitting in my room (I had got a candle to help with the smell sandlewood and something. I had the door propped open and the window open to get a nice breeze through the room. The cleaning woman that inspects the room who of whom I complained about came in without a knock mumbled something and left. 10 minutes later the guy from the front desk “Robert” came into my room and accused me of smoking- very odd as I am a nonsmoking person. I attempted to ask him what he was stating and he told me flat out that o had 10 minutes to pack my stuff and leave. I did just that - such a lie that woman told, I left all my food too

Excellent facility. A little hard to find but worth the search!

Not up to Marriott standards. Ironically, a placard in the room suggested we leave a "cashless tip." Well, here are my cashless tips. We chose the TownPlace Suites for its "full" kitchen because we like to eat in when staying several nights. We were given a room that had only an extra-large pot. Who has a chili cook-off from a hotel room? Moreover, one bedside lamp was very dim; the other lacked a bulb. We called the front desk and asked for more pans (a frying pan and saucepan) as well as a spare lightbulb. The desk clerk said they'd look in another room for pans, but the lightbulb request was impossible because no maintenance person was available. How many maintenance people does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Instead, it was suggested we move rooms. This second room had pans but no forks, a broken paper towel holder (with no paper towels), and a lightbulb missing from the bathroom. There seemed to be no point in moving again. We were eventually able to get 2 forks and just ignored the burnt-out bulb. However, by the next morning, we found the shower shampoo dispenser was empty, there was black mold around the shower frame, a smashed bug was dried and adhered to the shower wall, at least half of the showerhead's water jets were plugged, the bathroom light bar was rusty, and there was a thick layer of dust on the headboard. We've stayed in many far worse hotels around the world, but I would expect better from a Marriott in the U.S.

Everything was great

I loved the hotel, the location was great. My only issue is that I requested housekeeping, and they only came to clean the room 3x and I was there a week.
