Not welcoming.

My fiancé and I visited for a two night get away and were thrilled with our choice to stay here. The setting and accommodation was beautiful and atmospheric and the staff were so friendly attentive and accommodating. We would definitely recommend the Walhampton Arms again and had a lovely trip.

The property was attractive and we had a nice room. Service at dinner and breakfast was fine.

Fabulous spacious room with gorgeous bathroom / shower. Super huge comfy bed. Full English breakfast with lots of choices.

Attractive and Great Rooms which look like they have been refurbished. Great Shower with large overhead in roomy shower and bathroom. Large King Size bed very comfortable. Rooms are in courtyard separate from the pub. Nice breakfast freshly done. Typical pub food in the evening which was average.

The room was comfortable and well equipped. It was close to the hotel for breakfast and an evening meal. We arrived during a very bad storm so it was convenient that the hotel provided an evening meal.

Nothing to dislike

Stopped for one night. First impressions - the Walhampton Arms is a very beautiful structured building. Nice friendly staff. There is plenty of seating and a nice dining area. There was plenty of choice for the dinner menu, but l felt it was very limited for the breakfast. And found my egg was a bit greasy, maybe that's because it was fried quickly as we came for breakfast just before closing. The rooms were spacious, but being ground level, I felt l couldn't really leave my window open at night, so I just had the smallest gap. The room can get stuffy very quickly but thankfully there was a fan in the room. The Walhampton Arms is nice and close to the centre of lymington quay and towns market (that was a treat, fantastic stalls) and museum.

Very good stay - helpful, welcoming, room very good - spacious and comfortable. Food and service efficient. Easy access to neighbouring towns and forest areas also easy for day trip as foot passengers to Isle of Wight for a day.

Very friendly staff and accommodating, particular as we arrived early. Although room wasn't immediately available was able to change and leave our belongings so we could enjoy our day. Breakfast was tasty. Room was very spacious and clean and modern.

Good location, excellent facilities and very dog-friendly so perfect spot for walking in New Forest with evening meals and overnight stay.

Lovely big room with a massive bed and lovely shower. Very good value for money. 15 minute walk into town centre or £7 taxi ride. Would stay here again

Although the room was quite small it was nicely decorated and very comfortable. There was free tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water which was refilled daily. The staff we extremely friendly and helpful. A lovely place to stay very close to Lymington town centre.

Room ok although very hot. No fridge. No air conditioning. Very unfriendly check in. Very poor choice of cold breakfast items. Well over priced. Nice English breakfast.

The staff were very friendly, the food was excellent, the setting was quiet without being too far from Lymington. The only real negative was the extremely hard mattresses. Would recommend.

Great breakfast - basic room no a/c and bathroom not particularly clean. We paid over £200 a night which was not justified, but you’d be happy if £100 or less

We had a pleasant stay here. A nice collection of rooms in good condition. Breakfast also decent. Overall I’d say it’s good… but not quite as excellent as the fairly hefty price tag would imply.

Rooms were a good size, clean and quiet.

An absolutely lovely room. Excellent staff. Lovely quiet area. About a to minutes walk across the fields to the marina (if it’s wet boot’s would be handy) all in all I highly recommend this place

Very pleasant stay. Lovely olde worlde countryside inn, just a short scenic walk (about half a mile) from Lymington. Very nice comfortable room, and a very nice pub with good, very affordable food.
