The best motel 6 ever

This motel 6 studio at the airport was amazing compared to the run down other motel 6 at the airport. It was super clean and inviting. When booking I thought it was the same motel 6 (there are 2 airport motels 6’s in Austin) as there was no clear distinction between the two. My 11yo and I had a tragic occurrence at the crappy one and then got to this one and we’re quite relieved. The manager Ruth was amazing and the front desk guy Alejandro was compassionate and kind when I was having a mental breakdown after dealing with the terrible other airport motel 6. I hope they are both recognized as outstanding employees! Thank you for making me feel better and treating me with professionalism and kindness.

The service at the front desk for check-in was awesome. The rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable. The only complaint that I could find was the bars of soap or so tiny and the small packets of shampoo that didn’t lather I didn’t care for.

I was only there for a night before my flight home, but it was a really nice place. The location was great and the room was AMAZING!! I would happily stay there again!

My last stay in a Motel 6 was probably 30 years ago. This was a massive upgrade since then. For a basic place to sleep it was pretty much perfect for me.

Rooms were a little tiny, but they were very clean. Had a refrigerator and a microwave not a full kitchen, I was under the impression it had a kitchen. Wish it had more restaurants around it, but it didn’t really have anything.

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, our dog stayed free and AC was COLD!! My only complaints would be I did find a roach in the room and a much larger one on the hall way floor! Also, the water pressure in our room was very weak and no ventilation in bathroom. Other than that the stay was excellent!

Pros: Great location for overnight stay and being close to the airport. Clean, staff friendly and had everything you needed.
Con: Being accused and charged for a towel that was told had a huge stain on the towel. None of our towels had a stain on them and the most OCD person ever. This is the first time in all my travel history in over 25 years I have ever been charged for anything at a hotel, motel, resort, VRBO or AirBNB.
Watch your charges because evidently, they needed the money for a towel, and we will not come back here to stay.

Literally could not fault it - I don't know why the rating for this hotel isn’t even higher. Check-in was easy & speedy, parking was plentiful, the room was a good size & had a nice view, the bathroom was great... I can't think of a single issue. If I'm back in Austin again, I won't look anywhere else.

Just needed somewhere to stay for the night close to the airport and this place did the job. Was cheap and clean. There is a bus stop right across the street that gets u to the airport for only $2 and less than 10 mins in the bus.

The location is very convenient, close to the airport and downtown Austin. Staff is friendly and attentive, room was clean. The only thing is that the rooms at this motel 6 studio are so much smaller compared to other motel 6s
