We stayed 2 nights at this Citizen M in Zurich. Centrally located, it was very easy to walk to the old town and to find great restaurants and cafes nearby. My biggest issue is that there is no coffee in the room ! If that is too expensive or unsustainable then I suggest that just like they have a room with an ironing board on each floor - they should ABSOLUTELY have one of those large coffee making machines that allows you to choose the type of coffee you want. As well - they could have a water station instead of people having to go through the cafeteria to fill their bottles. The room card can limit the amount of coffee usage per person. I need a coffee to get things moving in my body in the morning as do many people (digestive) - to go downstairs early (without wanting to do the breakfast buffet) and to have to wait in line for the ONE BARRISTA (who was excellent but could only handle one guest at a time) - THIS would make a whole lot of sense since Citizen M - prides itself on sustainability and amazing care of their guests. I did feel that it missed the mark in this instance !

Nothing about this hotel was 4-star worthy. We arrived on a Friday morning and were not allowed to check in early at all—we were told we had to wait until 2pm. The next morning when we checked out, we saw them allowing other guests to check in several hours early. We expected the room to be small, but we didn’t expect it to be dirty. The shower had orange mildew all around the edge. The cups next to the sink were turned upside down but were wet inside and had old dust stuck on the inside of the cup, which tells me they haven’t been thoroughly washed in a long time. There is no coffee in the rooms, and the coffee they have available downstairs is very expensive (5 CHF for black coffee when you can get real coffee for the same price at a nearby cafe). The service was good and location was close to Zurich HB, but unfortunately everything else was a letdown.

Great hotel catered to the modern day travelers, staff was so was amazing, the outside surrounding area has a great nightlife, fun hotel and the lounge is nice and comfy, no problems at all and I loved it so much

Great hotel near the major sites. Staff was excellent. Bar was fun. Easy walk to Fraunkirche and major tourist sites. Loved the room. Had cool tech that controlled the lights and window shades to give a perfect feel. 100% rec.

This hotel is in a great location near old town. It is clean and well kept and the beds and bedding were comfortable.

It was nice having a bar in the lobby as well as a comfortable lounge area.

The staff was friendly. The bar was convenient. The modern style was very nice. Not to be too picky but when spendimg The AC was not working properly, our bedroom floor was not clean and the arrangement of the bed was inconvenie t requiring me to wake my partner when getting up.

The staff were excellent, helpful and knowledgeable, helping us with transportation and other great information. The room was clean and overall the stay was excellent. Close to all modes of transportation.

Honestly… I found the room to be claustrophobic. It was so cramped and I hated the bed against the wall. It was clean enough but I felt like a sardine.

Really a great hotel for business trips. It’s central you can walk everywhere und it’s easy to reach from the main station. The rooms have everything you need and are extremely quiet for the location. Will always try and stay there if it’s with the company budget.
