Nice bungalow style, accommodation. Close to Netley Station, good links to Southampton Centre. Good pub food available and morning breakfast is included.

The breakfast was excellent, and the cost was low. The room amenities were Lacking at the room, design was quirky and strange.

our stay was excellent 👌 the room,staff, food was amazing, The prince consort inn is by far the best b&b we have stayed at and we have stayed at a lot.

The Prince Consort is a nice local pub which also has rooms for bed and breakfast. I enjoyed the full English breakfast, which included very good quality bacon and sausages and all the usual ingredients. The coffee was especially delicious. I was visiting for a family funeral which was catered for there too. The buffet for the wake was also very good.

The room was very small and smelt musty. The bedding was very clean and the bed was comfortable, but not a place I would stay at again.

The room was absolutely freezing.

We arrived later on a friday evening...check in was in the pub itself at the bar, which was friendly and efficient. We we directed to our room which is located in the annex at the back of the pub itself. The room was clean and comfortable. Fresh towels and water bottles provided. Beds were very comfortable. We returned to the pub and managed to get a booking for a meal, which was much appreciated as the place was full of people eating. The meal itself was lovely, well presented, hot and very tasty. For breakfast we were asked what time we would like and were told it would be served in the pub. The breakfast was tasty, local products were used, staff were very friendly. Overall although we only stayed for one night as were going on a cruise next day, i would recommend the Prince Consort to others and would stay again without any reservations.

It was convenient and comfortable for the Southampton cruise terminal. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I stayed here for 1 night during a sailing course in Southampton August 2023, the staff were very kind and made sure I had everything I needed. The evening meal was way better than I would expect from a pub, you could tell the food there was popular with local people, the restaurant was nice and busy, and breakfast was 1st class, a top place to stay if you are in the area.

What a great fined, our room was a good size, lovely and clean as was the rest of the property. We had a meal which was excellent and looking around the other diner's were having equally as good meals. The staff were brilliant and very busy, we will definitely be back.

We stayed at this hotel as its not far from the cruise what we were going on and they do the most amazing breakfast staff nice room basic but very comfy and warm

This was a very handy and nice place to stop for the night. Good pub food and nice breakfast. Very clean and mostly good service. Rather spoiled things when we dared to ask for a second cup of coffee at breakfast. Must have caught the guy on a bad day.

Perfect location for the summer holiday. Close to the seaside, quiet area. My room was located on the first floor. Good size with spacious bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Had some problem with the WiFi, but I put it on the busy time (evening). There was no problem in the morning. Very nice and friendly staff. Dining area is in the pub. Great menu for dinner and breakfast. Lots of choices. No problem with check in and check out. Spacious car park. Close to the motorway. The only thing is that you can smell damp. It might be an issue if you are very sensitive.

We stayed here overnight before a cruise from Southampton. The pub was lovely and food good, customer service and staff very friendly. The room was small, damp.smellling and not very nice at all And thanks to the man next door snoring like a wild bear with a cold no sleep was had by us all. We wont be back

Bed was the worse we have ever slept in.Room felt cold and damp.We thought we had booked b and b.But were told in no uncertain terms by a very rude manager that we had to pay rhis was in front of the whole restraunt.We were extreamly offended.Would not use again

The room is a bit small but had everything we needed. Was very very clean and freshly painted. You could tell they put a lot of attention into taking care of it. A full breakfast was included, homemade and delicious. The owner operator/bartender appeared a bit gruff but was quite lovely to talk to actually. And provided great service. Quaint old style building. The sea is across the street.

A good welcome & shown our room, very comfy but single beds facing different ways, can only see half the TV if laid out on one bed, nice clean bathroom, a good choice on the breakfast menu, overall a good stay

Great place to stray and what a fantastic Breakfast

Friendly host with nice welcome. Quality of breakfast food good but limited variety - basic cereals, yoghurt, cooked breakfast incl. veggie. Rooms adequate but general feeling is the property needs a little love and attention. Internet was not available most of time TV very small and signal weak on some channels. Overall for the price we paid it was OK.

Clean comfortable accommodation. Ample breakfast, hot food served on a hot plate, a small point, perhaps, but it makes all the difference. Friendly staff.
