I’m so disappointed because we have many situations like the restroom was not really clean. The refrigerator has water the pillows have a nasty smell and there was just one bottle of water and when we tried to buy when we arrived it was midnight and they just said we don’t have any more water for selling so we don’t have water since yesterday, this is not possible. I’m finally they said that the breakfast is not included even though the rate is not cheap at least can we have a bottle of water please?

The hotel itself was great and all staff were welcoming and lovely. My room was pristine and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The food was perfect (I LOVED the burger and chips), but the buffet breakfast probably wouldn’t be good for picky European eaters (I’m sure one morning I had what looked to be mincemeat??)- whilst the buffet breakfast food may have been different to what I’m used to, it was still very very nice. My only downside to this hotel is the location- there is a big shopping centre on the opposite side of the road but not much else within walking distance. As a young solo female traveller I personally wouldn’t haven’t liked walking the area on my own at night, but thankfully this wasn’t an issue for me as I was only in Merida for a festival and found some friends with a car. If you are coming to Merida alone, please do be conscious of this hotels location (Ubers were fairly cheap though!). If you have a car or are happy to use Ubers/buses, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel looks nice from the outside, but inside is nothing special, a more importantly it has dangerous bathrooms. Bathroom flor even shower flor, are made of slippery tiles. I fell and almost broke my neck. Due to my fall, I have all kinds of pain as well as, the concussion . There are NO SAFETY BARS and there were no slip pads in the shower. After reporting the fall to the staff they have, sent someone to our room and they left two of the no-slip pads, but the damage was already done. The temperature was 104F, but that huge hotel doesn't have a pool. Parking is limited and awkwad, to get into. Breakfast was expensive and I would give it three stars.
