The price was great since we were staying 4 nights. We tried the breakfast one morning, but other than the waffle maker, it didn't offer much. It had coffee and yogurt, so those were good. The room/bath need a few corrections, but we didn't have any major problems. The shower's water pressure is great! (the sink, not so much) The tub was a little slick for standing, but they had a few gripper strips that helped. The housekeeper gave us plenty of towels and washcloths, as we requested (not luxury quality, but worked). The sheets and bed were soft and comfortable and we slept well. For the money... no complaints!

The room was fine, good TV with lots of Comcast channels (if you can find them), fairly quiet, good Wi-Fi, minimal breakfast.

Rooms were very tiny but it was good for what we needed it for. I found a couple of different types of bugs crawling around, & you can tell they don’t scrub the baseboards often & such. The hotel staff wasn’t necessarily rude, but you could tell they didn’t want to be there & i get it! I didn’t take offense to it.

Decent sized room, however the shower was meant for a handicap and the floor got wet pretty quickly in shower.
The pressure of the faucet was just drips and not strong enough at all. Towels for body are very small and definitely past their shelf life.
Overall though, it’s close to where I needed to be and Cookeville is charming.

The room was clean and large compared to other hotels we've stayed at. Grounds in front of the room door was very rough. Had to step over rocks and holes from parking lot to room.

The property is light up with great exterior lighting which was very nice. The room was clean and cleaned by housekeeping everyday (I don't find a lot of places that do this anymore). The reason I did not give a higher rating is for what she would probably call a minor issue but for us it just seemed unreasonable. The hotel has an ice machine and plenty of ice but if you want any you will need to bring your own bucket. Staff was great and will give you as many bags that fit the buckets but no buckets. Those bags are really thin and if trying to get ice yourself while holding the bag and pressing the ice button was comical.

So it is a budget place to stay the night, so your expectations can not be too high. The room had been updated recently so many things seemed newer, however whoever did the cleaning did a poor job. I found hairs in the shower, on the toilet, and the towels were all.. yes all... dirty and filthy, not just a little dirty but stains all over them. When I called and asked for new towels, it was a quick response and the towels they delivered where fresh and clean the way you would expect. There was a very nice man on staff I spoke with several times, and because of him I gave this place an extra star.

The place was reasonably clean, and the staff did fine.
Other than that, this place is a dump. We traveled with a group of people, so I can attest to multiple rooms being bad. The tvs didn't work right, one of them had a black line running down part of it. The pillows are the size of throw pillows you'd put on a couch and are worn out. Several wall outlets were worn out to the point that things wouldn't stay plugged in. The doors for the bathrooms either wouldn't close, or were barely hanging on to the frame.

We were quire pleased with the hotel. This was our first time in Cookeville just passing through on to our destination. Everything was very impressive and we would stop again.

For the price I paid I felt it was excellent. I think the building is a but older but everything worked and it was clean. I would stay here again.

Good for a quick stop on a road trip.
The staff was extremely helpful as the door to the room was stuck and needed a physical key instead of the card.

Clean roadside motel along I 40. Decent price. Breakfast is minimal. Bath towels need to be replaced as they were torn and some were threadbare. Overall I would stay here again.

Check in was good, when we got to our room it smelled, was dirty, door had a big gap on bottom and side. First thing I do is check the beds, habit. When pulling everything back one is the beds was dirty not sure what was all in the dirty mess, I called from desk and had them come see it, the guy says oh we don’t clean that part of the bed (under mattress), also let him know about nats all over room flying around, only thing he said was I’ll let the manager know.
I read all the reviews, thought would give it a try, never again. Not sure why people give it a great review,

We arrived, checked in, walked up to the room, I sat down in the chair to book a different room elsewhere, we left.
We were at the hotel a total of 20 minutes
The stairway to second floor was warped and rotting. There were people hanging out in the parking lot and outside their rooms that made me feel unsafe for my wife and kid.
I got in the car and left.
I didn’t bother with the hotel or Hotels.com, just left

It’s a 1 star motel- don’t expect much. Mostly clean, price was great. Probably wouldn’t return.

The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. For the price you could not beat it. I will note that the “breakfast” was not really a breakfast. It was a few small snacks in a paper bag. For me that was not a problem, but for any travelers who were counting on a meal and had not budgeted time for an alternative that would be a big disappointment. I think it would be better to say something like “breakfast snacks provided” instead of calling it breakfast. Then people could plan appropriately.

It rained water leaking thru roof also a huge indentation in ceiling volume on tv increase on it's own. Shower/ tub really slippery water leaking from either a/c or from outside could really tell,you decide! If it wasn't for the fact we were visiting my daughter and grandson for 11 years!!! Would have relocated and 4th of July weekend.... also talked to person at front desk told us manager would be around that evening to talk to us!!! I don't know maybe he showed up after we left!!! Thinking about canceling credit card!!! Terrible people really bad

It was great as always! Clean rooms and daily maid service. Only complaint is the shower. Very little water pressure. Difficult to shower. Otherwise great and I’ll be staying there again.

This was a really nice and inexpensive option. The staff who work at the hotel were extremely friendly. Check-in was easy. Really quiet location. Lots of great food options around. I would definitely definitely stay here again.

I've stayed at this Super 8 before. The current stay was very good. The desk person, a very pleasant young man, honored my request for location of my room and was very helpful. The room was very handsome, clean & comfortable. And quiet! I got a very good night's sleep. I'll stay here again. Great location -- convenient to stores, restaurants, highway (but is in a quiet area).
