Beautiful spot right on the water, very clean

The room was super nice, spacious and clean. Great area, easy check in/out. Nice private beach. Comfortable beds and convenient location. My only issue is since its dog friendly, i think there might have been fleas in our room. We really enjoyed our stay tho and i would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area.

This is an older property and we didn’t expect much since it was much cheaper than the other ocean front motels nearby, and that’s exactly what we got..not much. The floor of the shower had cracks that were clearly leaking water as it felt “soft” to walk on. The Wi-Fi simply didn’t work, kicked you off every couple of minutes. Our friends who also stayed here had the exact same problem. Nothing has changed since the 60’s, nothing. Since you let yourself in and have to request housekeeping services (which we didn’t ) I only talked to one person who happened to be in the room while I was getting ice and she was very sweet. It IS right on the beach which was nice. If your only qualification is price this might be the place for you. For all else you may have break open the piggy bank.

Do not book room 1 or 2 or 3. These are essentially basement room with absolutely no view and no sound insulation. Room 1 where we stayed is the worst as it faces the staircase to the floor above. We were woken up by the arrival of the guest above us late at night. Every footstep could be heard. Then we were woken up again at 2am when the guest went to the bathroom. Repeat on the following night. There was no receptionist when we arrived and nobody had notified us of the room number. Thankfully, the cleaning person helped us. She also helped us when we told us that the heater in the room was not working. She knew right away to check the breakers so it must not be the first time this happened. This said, if you can get a water view the place is right on the beach and you will have a much, much better time. What we paid for room 1 was way overpriced in my opinion.

Nice place on the beach. Being pet friendly was of the utmost importance as we cannot travel without our Yorkie. Very friendly staff and great access to the beach.

Very nice clean and quiet place. Great access to the beach. I brought my dog and since it was after Labor Day I was able to take him to the beach. I will stay again.

The stay was great. Need fans in the bathroom and ADA Compliant. Parking stunk not much room for my car. Bring a small car!

The Sea Shell Hotel is a small family owned pet friendly hotel. The owner stopped by several times to say hi. If you are looking fancy this is not your place but it was exactly what we wanted: great location, on a nice beach and our dog was welcome. The kitchenette was very handy.

Great location, loved the beach access and chairs. Wish they fit two fulls instead of a twin and full.

Liked that it was right on the beach and room was clean. Other than that - Furniture outdated. Building needs some repairs. Large garbage bins kept near outdoor sitting area - gross. Had to turn AC off in order to relax on the porch

Very laid back but very clean and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Mattresses could be a little more comfortable. Great place to take pets.

Great location but if you arrive a little late, no one is there to show you your room. Also difficult to reach by phone.

Fantastic location. Room 32 had stunning ocean view from deck. Clean room. Arrived to find AC not working. They immediately replaced it with a working unit.

We really enjoyed the amazing view and location from Room 31. Bea, who runs the motel is awesome - very helpful and really made our stay more enjoyable.

The staff was very friendly and kind. Nice getaway with the family. Love that the beach is right there. I’ve never stayed right on the beach before kids were so happy.

Kind of strange to have no interaction with anyone on staff.

The motel is very affordable and on a very cute beach. The parking was tough with a big truck if possible take a mid size or small vehicle.

Not fancy, but very functional and very clean! Beautiful views of the ocean from our balcony, and the sound of the waves rolling in at night, were just what we were hoping for. There was no hair dryer or ironing board in the room, which was a little surprising, but we considered that a minor inconvenience. The beach was clean with plenty of beach chairs for the guests, and there were multiple eating establishments within minutes. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Shell, and we will definitely be booking a room here on our next trip to the Cape!!

Loved being right in the beach & the availability of lots lounges… also the fact that it is dog friendly… the area was lovely..

Had zero contact with any hotel personnel during our entire stay. None at check in or out. Courtyard was a little over crowded with seating and tables.

Small room with no hair dryer, no tissues. Outdated, old, dirty carpet. When room was booked a Continental Breakfast was included, before stay I got 3 emails stating that it was decided that the breakfast would not be included. On the 2nd day of our visit, a woman asked if we wanted coffee, etc. The breakfast was still provided, yet we were not told. The beach was beautiful!

Clean, shower was great and beds were comfortable

Our room was perfect #23, steps from the beach and watched and listened from our bed as the waves hit the beach, Quiet and private, just what we were hoping for. Unbelievable view!!
