This property advertises that it offers keyless entry but in fact, it does NOT. I booked the hotel because it is a mile away from an outpatient facility where I was scheduled to have a 7-hour surgical procedure and I wanted to be able to get from surgery to my room as quickly as possible. I set up Digital Key in order to do that and also called the hotel after I was discharged to TRIPLE-confirm that my keyless entry was ready. The front desk employee that took my call informed me that I would still need to stop at the front desk to show my ID and provide a credit card. While I was waiting in line with my nurse (again, after 7 hours of surgery) the Front Desk Manager appeared and I asked why it was necessary for me to wait since I had already provided the information required. Her explanation was that a) it was my first time using Digital Key and b) I had booked through a third-party. I did not see any advance notice for reason “a” when I originally made the booking. As for reason “b”, the front desk manager made it sound as though I had made a mistake by booking through a third-party, in this case, Expedia. I understand that post-operative recovery is not a common reason for a hotel booking. However, all I was asking for was an already available service that is prominently advertised. This experience was one of poor service and a lack of compassion on the part of both employees. I hope this review provides an opportunity for better training of those involved. Thanks.

I had a bad experience at this place. I usually travel for business and initially liked this hotel. I requested to change my room because it had a bad smell and the bathroom door would open by itself. The front desk girl attended to me with a very bad attitude and refused to change my room. I will not return to this place, and we have removed it from the list of hotels for employee travel at the company.

I believe I was bit by bedbugs. I felt bites on my legs in the night but was too tired to wake up and report it. Bumps came up later and still itch horribly 3 days later.

Went with my family of 3 and it was perfect. Room was perfect size and it had what we needed.

Large room. Clean. Right at shopping complex with plenty of food options within walking distance. Perfect for our overnight stay to check out Rollins!

Right in the heart of new Winter Park. Close to theater, Cheesecake Factory, and lots of shopping along with other food choices. Highly recommend. Breakfast is overpriced and not worth it however.

Pleasantly surprised! It is a relatively new property. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The staff was pleasant and professional and the property was great. The property is within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend.

Wish I could have stayed longer

Keep in mind this hotel is on a busy road with street noise. Also, there is no “garden”. The only outdoor space is a bar patio that is quite noisy. The vehicles and in my case, the garbage truck doing pickups in the surrounding area disturbed my desire to sit outdoors and enjoy spring weather.

This was our second stay and we will be back. Very good hotel for a short stay in Orlando. Great location in Winter Park. Good value price balance. Excellent quality bedding and bathroom toletries. Perfect comfort. Hilton has high standard even for its lower cost brands. Breakfast here is not really worth it unless you get a free breakfast deal. We tried it in our first stay, but skipped it this second time. There are much nicer places to enjoy breakfast in the area.

Excellent location to access Winter Park and communities north of Orlando. Clean, attractive and efficient property with exceptional staff. All of our requests - for towels, cleaning, a packing box- were cheerfully accommodated. The restaurant is modest with a limited menu serving breakfast and dinner. The food was well prepared and presented. I welcome amenity when working with a hectic schedule. The one issue was a staff misunderstanding in the interest of meeting our preferences. I booked a mobility accessible room with a location preference not next to elevator. A staff person changed the reserved room to one farther away from the elevator. Unfortunately the room change out is in a hearing accessible room. The error was clearly a mistake and corrected after the first night with apologies and a credit. I will happily stay at this property again when I am in town for business or pleasure.

Staff were about average but were more worried about talking to each other than to customer. Went for breakfast on 3/4/24 where I was not greeted or waited on till bill was given to me. I served my self due to wait women was in a full blown conversation with cook about where she went out night before. Will not stay at Hilton Winter Park ever again.
