Only stayed one night. Great location. Easy check in. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Would stay again.

Everything was amazing

Do not stay on the first floor if you want a quiet location. The music is loud ( which I loved) but for my child it was quite bothersome. The people above you, if they don’t walk quietly it feels like they'll come through the ceiling.

The property was about a 5 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay. It was a very clean property with friendly staff. Only thing was it had limited breakfast options and you had to pay extra for certain menu items. I really liked how there was a placita with different restaurants to choose from in front of the hotel.

Location is excellent and right off the beach. There is a really nice pool available to use at the hotel next door. Restaurants are literally right outside the lobby entrance. Room was spacious and wi-fi was fast. Would stay again!

This the second year we have stayed great place. Have to thank Leona,Angel,Kimberly and the rest of the staff we highly recommend anyone to stay here.

La Placita is a nice property located close to everything in West Bay. It is an easy walk to the beach and many restaurants. We only stayed one night when our flight home was canceled. Breakfast was fantastic and they provided a shuttle to the airport. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is my first time at La Placita...just a block off the stunningly beautiful West Bay beach. This is a comfortable, affordable, pleasant place to stay here on Roatan!

Staff were resistant to help whem issues. Manager was able to help. Staff need to be trained not to say NO. But we will need to look into this and give a time to get back to you. Room 102 should be advertised at having no view appart from a covered wall

Great location on the West End with pool and beach access! Staff was friendly and very helpful! This hotel is located in a square with many good eats and a coffee bar! Would definitely stay here again!

Everything about it was good I just wish they provided the shuttle to and from the airport.

The place was very friendly and nice place to stay. Kimberly, Jesse, and all the staff were top notch. Additionally, Edder was our driver and did a tremendous job of showing us the island and giving us a true sense of the island and the communities on the island. Great stay and will come again someday.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at La Placita Inn very much. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Kimberly, Angel and our shuttle drivers that got us to/from airport safely. Loved that we could use sister property amenities. Also enjoyed daily breakfast as well as the plaza with multiple dining options. Would visit again and definitely recommend.

Great place and price

Great location. Just back from the beach, pool access, solid breakfast. Nice rain shower…good pillow game in the rooms. Staff was very friendly and responsive.

Clean room, good service. West Bay is the best area to visit in Roatan.

Front desk helpful in arranging the return of a cellphone left in a cab as well as transportation to the airport with a shuttle for 9 people and luggage. There was VERY loud music played in the lobby and the rooms just off the lobby vibrated with it. More of a nightclub vibe than a hotel. The rooms are not very soundproof. The music did stop a little after 9pm but still very disruptive if you want to relax in your room or have an early morning start. Hotel restaurant had delicious food and large portions.

If I could give 20 stars-I would! We had an amazing stay at La Placita. We were greeted in the airport lobby by the hotel shuttle, and transported in a very comfortable van to the property. La Placita is located at the end of a small shopping plaza (hence the name). This was perfect because it gave many close options for restaurants and souvenir shopping. The property is part of Mayan Princess and Las Sirenas. As a result, we had access to their pool and beach chairs. The pool is a 2 minute walk from La Placita and West Bay beach is approximately 3 minutes. The walk is simple and pleasant. The property is also close to Bananarama. Bananarama is a tourist trap with terrible service, but they have wonderful happy hour drink and food specials that you should take advantage of. What makes La Placita truly exceptional is the staff and facility cleanliness. Every person we encountered from house keeping, to the restaurant, to the shuttle drivers, to the front desk was top notch. The front desk staff (Shelby, Rose, and Jessie) always welcomed us with a smile and kind words. They were so kind with our young daughter and made her trip truly special. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the plaza. We did not find it to be loud at night and slept very well. The balcony was gigantic. The rooms were immaculate. The rain shower in the bathroom was so refreshing after a hot day on the beach. The water was warm with great water pressure. 10/10-loved everything
