My wife and I spent two nights at the Manor House Inn while exploring Hadrian's Wall and other nearby Roman sites. We totally enjoyed it. From a great breakfast in the morning to an excellent pub / restaurant in the evening, everything was great. The staff was super hospitable and the housekeeping was excellent. Internet connectivity was also excellent. Highly recommended when you're planning on visiting Hadrian's Wall.

This was a friendly Inn, central both in Britain and in Haltwhistle!! The check in was easy, excellent amenities and staff were all very helpful. Fantastic place to explore local area.

Very minor gripes the push button room door entry was not great. two sinks in bathroom not needed but too much furniture in bedroom. Great location near to Hadrians wall sites. The staff were fantastic and the breakfast was one of the best i've had. Food was good quality and the bar was very good. Lots of information and good parking options.

I had a pleasant two night stay and the room was very spacious and clean with a great shower. The wardrobe back had fallen off but it didn’t affect my stay. Breakfast was great. The hotel is very handy for the railway station and the bus stop opposite meant it was easy to get the AD122 bus up to Hadrian’s Wall. Definitely a good place to base yourself. Check in was easy and the staff worked hard and a friendly bunch.

Overall, the hotel was great. Very busy dining, but no problem with obtaining food on first night. However, on second night it took one & a half hours to get food (only starters ordered). The main problem was communication. No-one told us that they had a big party in & it would take a considerable time to get our order. Even after an hour, when I went to see where our food was, the issue was not handled very well. The kitchen & front of house need to communicate better.

Really nice friendly hotel with good accommodation excellent facilities and located in the centre of town. We were halfway through the Hadrian’s Wall cycle way and it was ideal place to stay with friendly efficient service, good food and staff who really looked after you. Great would recommend and hope to stay again.

Loved this property, lovely staff and nicely decorated comfy rooms.
They even let our friends come in and have breakfast with us when they weren’t staying there. Nice gesture. Food was really good.

It was a very nice place to stay, excellent food, lively bar and clean and comfortable room. There was no welcome gift as promised by Hotels.com and there was a bit of a mix up in that although I had already paid the hotel insisted I pay again, the £300 was refunded during my stay as it was the hotels mistake.

Lovely location in town right next to other pubs and restaurants. Staff were excellent and the pub was really clean and tidy.
We took a trip around the various pubs which was friendly and fun.
Highly recommend.

Pleased to find I was given a comfortable, warm, clean and well appointed room. The evening meal was very satisfying and well presented. Overnight, I found the bed slightly uncomfortable though I slept. Breakfast choice was good though the eggs benedict buns could have been softer. Overall very satisfied and I would recommend the MH to friends.

Excellent staff, lovely pub, delicious breakfast. Clean & cosy room although I would prefer plainer decor. Very good shower. Quiet & good bed so slept well. Traditional menu for evening meal eg pies and sausage. Friendly atmosphere

We stayed here for a night as a couple in a double room. All facilities were supplied - plenty of tea/coffee/milk, shower gel/shampoo/conditioner, tv & great wifi. The hotel is right in town.
The lovely staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. We ate in the bar and the food was incredible! We had the haddock cakes and steak pie ( Desperate Dan would have struggled to finish all that meat !)
Breakfast in the morning was included and was a great start to the day ( cereals, croissants, fruit, juices along with the most plentiful full english we've had in a very long while)
Thank you to everyone for a wonderful stay - we will definitely be back.. Snap up a room if you're in the area ! You won't be disappointed..

The room was clean and tidy. However, it was very hot throughout the night due to the heating being on. Breakfast was nice and cooked well and portion size was good. Check out is 10am so if you have a 9.30am breakfast it can end up a bit rushed.

Warm welcome, lovely pub and comfortable room and bed, nice powerful shower, food was excellent in the evening and breakfast was great.
Only downside, I booked honeymoon suite, I didn’t receive my welcome gift!?

We arrived parked outside, asked how long we could stay parked ( didn’t know) found somewhere to park around the back
Booked dinner for 7-30 arrived for dinner to be told the kitchen was closed. Asked if there were restaurants in town but told there were only takeaways, so ended up with fish and chips which they allowed us to eat in the restaurant. They gave us a bottle of wine complements of the manager.
