We had a great time in cripple Creak. Hotel was convenient to most of the activities we were interested in seeing.

They have a sliding bathroom door that went off track . When reported they did not fix or offer any assistance. Had to use restroom the whole stay with door stuck open. Very disappointed. Also, a little ways from all other activities

Beautiful area and hotel. The personnel was so very kind. My trip was cut short by a health issue and they were extremely helpful and kind. I highly recommend this property.

Bed was comfy and the staff was great. Very clean and nice and quiet!

Rooms were clean, staff were friendly. The bathroom doors were horrible. A sliding door that was stuck, and when closed, it did not provide any privacy. The beds were clean, but like a rock. The pillows were also very hard and uncomfortable. There was no coffee in sight. I suppose they wanted you to go to the restaurant to get coffee, but it was very inconvenient to do so as it is across the street. The rooms were very clean, however. Not a bad place overall, but the typical conveniences you would expect were just not there.

No internet, which meant no A/C, tv, phone or desk phone working. Staff didn’t notify anyone and didn’t seem to care. No services since 10 pm. Checked out in early morning because too stuffy. Room should have been comped.

When we arrived after 4 pm, the computers were down and check in was done manually. Employees were apologetic and doing the best they could. It was then disappointing to learn there were no clean rooms available, so we went to dinner. After dinner we were assigned a room but found it had not been cleaned. Finally, we were put in a clean room but there was no information about the hotel and amenities nor information on the website. When we asked about the location of the pool and spa, we were told it was at the sister property a few blocks away and the spa was not working. We selected this property because it was listed as having an indoor pool and spa and now feel the description on the site was misleading. When this was mentioned to a staff member we got no response.

We went to Cripple Creek Golden Nugget to celebrate my birthday. The property was ok. Service on the casino floor was sparse. There were few waitresses Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday there were a lot more. When we went to the casino bar, the bartender was talking to a regular and didn't look our way. We finally got her attention by interrupting her conversation. The only dining option was the Salt grass.which is a bit overpriced. Our first night we sat at the bar and had a similar experience to the casino bar whereby the bartender was rude and inattentive unless you were a regular. We waited too long for refills and when our meal arrived we were not given utensils or condiments. When we asked for these items, the bartender gave us and attitude and slammed the dish with the condiments in front of my husband. We went to the Saltgrass.for breakfast and lunch and had a much better experience. The service was fabulous at the tables. We took the shuttle to downtown Cripple Creek and the driver gave us a little tour of the town. It was wonderful. He provided fabulous service.

Did not like the dining options. I love Saltgrass but this was not to the standards i have experienced at Westminster location. And Casino was very small and crowded. Enjoyed the little town but probably will never go back to stay or gamble.

We only stayed one night but it's a very nice clean hotel. The bed was very comfortable the air conditioning worked well, the bathroom was nice and clean. Check in ladies were extremely efficient and very friendly and knowledgeable.

The staff were very friendly and willing to help how they could if needed. They handled difficult customer gracefully. What was difficult was check-in parking, level and close/convenient parking for handicapped walkers. The hotel and casino are NOT in the same building. Again, a walk across the street on unlevel walkway.

This was a great hotel. Very clean, seemed new, and the staff was great. The beds were doubles, as opposed to queens (a tight squeeze for a family with kids), but I didn’t pay attention to that detail. I would (and hopefully will) stay here again!

Super nice place ,very classy , parking was near the room was clean. Only negative was finding someplace in town for breakfast. There is a convenience store nearby though.

Desk clerk made sure when arriving you were acknowledged! Nice rooms, very clean rooms!! Will be back !!

Great staff

Where do I begin. Check in had a lady who wanted to monopolize the gentleman at the desk while the rest of us waited as she aired her grievances. Most of which he had no control over (Internet service too slow, you're in the mountains lady). My husband took our stuff up while I parked, by the time I made it up he had unloaded everything - but then discovered the room's cleanliness was questionable. The bed was made impeccably - everything else was a disaster. He should have requested a new room at that point but didn't want to be a pest. No towels, soap, coffee, water, cups - we found an employee with a cart & he loaded us up with provisions. The floor had food on it from the last guest, clearly hadn't been vacuumed, & spills on the side tables. Again, we should have just requested a new room. We even had to put liners in the trash cans - they had been emptied but that's it. The next morning, I pulled the shower curtain back to discover a waded up, used washcloth tucked into the curtain. Let's not even discuss the state of the commode. We checked out & ended up down the street staying an extra night in town just to stay at an exceptional hotel for $1 more. Well worth it.

The front desk staff didn't greet us and never smiled when we arrived and every time we passed them during our stay.. They did the bare minimum to check us in and out.

Getting up the mountain in the middle of the night is not recommended

The place is great, however the TV system is horrible. Whoever decided on the totally user unfriendly system should be fired!!
