Great experience! Had an issue with the toilet upon arrival and it was tended to while we ate an amazing dinner downstairs! Our dog 🐕 loved the whole pet friendly vibe and the river walk was a nice evening stroll- a new side to the city we hadn't seen before

property was very nice but the AC in our room did not work well. design on the sliding bathroom doors was poorly designed and difficult to open and close. parking is bad @ $50/day or park on street $24/day. the hotel convenience car was very helpful and drivers very pleasant. desk staff was also very helpful and pleasant.

I wanted this trip to be great, it was for our Wedding Anniversary. The property is great and nice location away from all the hustle and bustle. However I didn’t get the warm and fuzzy feeling from the hotel o was looking for

Great place to stay, the only issue I had was the room was not ready for check-in when I arrived. Had to wait for them to clean the room before I could check-in. Which cause the cleaning staff to miss things that should have been in the room like coffee cups for the coffee maker and shower caps.

It was a great place to stay. We had an appetizer during the day at the roof top bar. It was delicious but our waitress went away Aon break and never told us. Ordered a drink and she didn’t even deliver that first. So that was so so. We had dinner downstairs and it was delicious. We had the pasta dish and the tomorrow salad and can’t rave enough about it. The cleanliness in the room was so so. Bathroom was quite clean but bedroom area floor could have had a better vacuum and side tables wiped. Overall it was a nice place. Service was very friendly. And they let us check In early :-)

The hotel is in a quiet, dog-friendly area. It is a gorgeous hotel with friendly staff. I would stay there again when visiting Savannah.

Staying the Thompson Savannah was an overall wonderful experience!! My favorite thing about this hotel is the second floor pool it is very scenic and calming!! The view from my room was fantastic i could see the riverfront! The staff here will greet you and go out their way to help you with something! They will give great recommendations on anything that you might be looking for!! Highly recommend this hotel if you wish to stay in Savannah historical district! Oh my favorite part is that the hotel is pet friendly and don't charge for them!!

Great service staff and food!

The view was great and SOME of the staff members are awesome. The rest of the hotel needs a deep clean and overhaul. The hallways and fixtures are dusty and dingy. The rooms could be very nice if they were cleaned well but they're not. I practically had to beg for my linens to be changed in my room and the build up of dust and crevasses of dirt throughout the room lets me know the room had not been cleaned well in quite some time. I voiced my concerns and requests but ultimately, it was met with a dismissive attitude and little efforts to make it right. Also, save your money when it comes to valet. The morning staff is great but the afternoon staff outright avoids you when you pull up to do your car off and never checks your car in- leaving you waiting at least 15 minutes each time you need your car or want to drop it off. The hotel has alot of potential but I will not be back.

Our stay at the Tho Pain Savaywas amazing, from the riverfront views to the rooftop, to the awesome pool deck to the Tesla house car. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. We will be back and recommend to others.

The pool was very dirty. We were unable to get into it. Very cloudy and gross. The staff was overly complementary of the facility - In a trained enthusiastic way. Not authentic.. The food in both the upper rooftop was really good. The restaurant on the main floor seemed like it would be good, but we did not eat there. No coffee or cream. We have stayed at the Thompson in Nashville and it was really nice. This was a subpar experience. It is not a hotel.

Great property, food and service. Parking should be included. $50 for over night is steep.

Room redesign nicely done. However no free parking anywhere nearby, and odd valet rules. Told I couldn’t park in the clearly marked 15 min unloading spots on side of hotel, told to pull in front where it clearly states valet parking?? Then valet ripped my keys from my hand mid sentence as he tells me the ‘protocol’ for unloading. He was so quick I had no clear indication of what was happening. All I was trying to do was unload my car for 1 night stay. Front desk staff was slow and charged $115 extra, $40 was ‘resort fee’ but never used anything but the room. Also 4 employees hanging around not helping or asking to help anyone who clearly needed a hand. I will never stay again and wouldn’t recommend as there isn’t much around it and no real Savannah sites near by. Too expensive for what it offers. At least offer free water for the extra $40 paid esp since no free parking is available.

A beautiful architectural shell with no soul. This will be a cool hotel, someday. Located in a revamped industrial zone with multiuse housing, shopping,dining, options, someday. Right now it is a ghost town of empty condominiums and closed storefronts. THERE IS NO HOTEL PARKING, PAY HOURLY FOR A SPACE YOU CANNOT LEAVE! It's also clear that the hotel is newly opened and perhaps not properly staffed.

Very impressed. Staff attentive, friendly and helpful. Rooms nice, beds comfy, clean and tastefully decorated. Will stay again. Only con (minor) - pool small and busy, no hottub. Added comment: travelled with our dogs. Hotel is great location with nice open park adjacent, nice river walk area. It was perfect!

Our stay was amazing. We loved the location, property and surrounded area. It's a quite and safe area, but still super walkable to the main street and more touristic area. They have bikes available which are very pleasant to ride around. The free public shuttle also has a stop right on the hotel block. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff was great in everything we needed. Highly recommend!

The property was exquisite, situated so perfectly at river walk. The convenience of the location makes it a short walk down the river to old town and the historic homes and buildings.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They had a cheerful and positive attitude. The room was beautiful and immaculately cleaned. The roof top bar has a spectacular view. The staff there was fantastic. They have valet parking available. It is a fantastic pet friendly hotel that is welcoming to their guests and furry guests alike. It is conveniently located just minutes from tje shops parks and districts, making it easy to walk to anything you want. I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Savannah area.
