Room was clean but not very big. Seemed expensive for what was offered. Limited amenities but basics were covered. Breakfast wasn’t that great.

Our room was on the Interstate side and we slept very little due to noise. Not the hotels fault, but we would choose another place next time. Also only one towel and one washcloth each. Sheets were clean but looking tired. Staff was nice and front desk recommended a great place for dinner. Room was clean, so I’ll say good overall, although I’m not sure it was a $220 room.

I needed to stay one night from a long drive and this hotel was nice and the gentlemen at the front desk were so friendly.

It looks like a brand new building. It’s conveniently located and the staff is terrific! But the walls are such that one can hear everything outside the room. Noise machine encouraged.

For us, this was a utilitarian 1 night hotel stop next to an interstate. Easy and clean with a modern design. Breakfast ok. Store by front desk with drinks snacks etc. A small but upscale workout room with an ice maker and water bottle refilled next to it. We would stay here again if passing thru.

I reserved my room weeks in advance and requested a room as far away from the ice machine and elevator as possible. My room was only a few rooms away. I heard every person who walked past my room and couldn't fall asleep until midnight. The mattresses were painful to lie on and I had pain all night and woke up many times in the night with pain in my back from the mattress. The shower had mold inside and out and at breakfast, the hard boiled eggs were spoiled.

Last night was our first stay at a Tru by Hilton and it was wonderful! We had an accessible room which was huge - the bathroom was also huge - we loved the dispensers of soap, lotion, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. Love the non-carpeted rooms - no odors no stains - just wonderful simplistic but very modern design.

Was wonderful NOT having carpet! Much cleaner! Loved colors and shades! Very quiet! Wish they had an in house restaurant.

Everything was just fine

New hotel, updated amenities with an excellent staff. Coffee was excellent. It’s right off the highway which is both good and bad. Its convenient but you can hear the highway.

Comfortable bed and nice staff. Small things like toilet seat was broken and sink drained very slow. Small gym had great variety of workout gear. Breakfast staff were so nice.

No microwave or coffee maker in the room is a miss for us. It was a last minute booking so I didn’t realize it when we booked but I wouldn’t stay again for that reason.

I expected more from Hilton. It was the most expensive hotel around the area and it was bad. No frills, not even a coffee maker in room. One towel each, handle of shower and toilet were loose. Ran out of Kleenex which as well as the toilet paper were so thin. Room small. Bed ok, no extra blankets or pillows.

Overall, our stay was very nice. The room and hotel were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was decent, not great. But the staff was attentive and kept it stocked. The only downside was that the room was a bit small. The king sized bed took up almost the entire room. But we didn't plan to spend much time in the room, so it was not a problem. It was still big enough for us to set up our dog's bed. The staff was really great. Friendly, but not uncomfortably so. The location was really good. We were there for New River Gorge National Park. No matter where we were planning to go, it was 20-30 minutes away. Had we not had our dog with us (and had to go back midday), it would have been ideal. Overall, I would definitely stay at this location again.

Hotel was top notch clean!

Staff friendly. Room okay, could have been cleaner. Bed well used. Mattress and box springs need of replacement. You shouldn’t have to sleep in a divot that previous guest have left behind.

Great stay. The lobby was was very open and friendly with pool table, TV's, individual pods with wifi hook up. Personnel very very friendly. The room was very clean but very basic. The space was very small. I would like to have had some room to move around in. The bed was very comfortable.

Overall stay was ok. Hotel is not very soundproof. Highway was very loud, along with hearing guests in their own rooms. Our bathroom sink was clogged when we got to our room, called to have maintenance and there was no maintenance available. My husband just asked if they had a snake and he could take care of it and they weren’t able to provide anything. Employee said he would speak to the manager to have a discount applied on our room and it wasn’t done when we checked out. Employee at check-out didn’t seem to care that we had a problem after we explained we had to wash hands and brush teeth with the shower head. Breakfast area was a mess, nothing refilled, microwave was disgusting.

The hotel is new. It has nice lobby with a pool table and board games. My room had no bathtub.

Second time staying at Tru…love it! Clean, neat, efficient and a great value.

Hotel was bright, clean and cheerful. Room was small but adequate. Sevice was efficient and friendly.

Wonderful! Everyone was friendly. The hotel is clean. The rooms are extra small but still cozy.

Rooms were small. Wished we'd got a connecting room.
