Very friendly staff, but property was very outdated, they need quite a few upgrades done. Did not like that they allow pets, there were to many dogs and you can hear them barking all hours of the night from in your room. It worked for a last minute stay and it was in a good location.

Found out the room was roach infested in the middle of the night when going to the bathroom. Left the lights on, and still found a roach on me in the bed in the morning. Talked to the manager, Matt, who said he would give a refund, but when Hotels.com called he said he would only refund the night we didn’t stay.

Good Hotel. Staff was very helpful no matter the time of day always had a smile.

Toilet seat was too small for the toilet and the lid was broken. Room was clean but absolutely NO perks, not even a coffee machine or ice bucket. No fan in the bathroom made for a very sweaty shower experience. Would not stay again.

The room smelled of wetness and mold. The shower area looked like it was going to fall apart. The door was not fully sealed so heat was coming in from the outside.

Ok hotel. Has been remodeled worth $63 a night. Bare concrete floors no great for me

It was already inconvenient when after 12 hours of summertime driving, arriving to a room that was hotter inside than it was outside. Turning on the air conditioner made all the roaches scatter. For being a "newly remodeled" facility, they neglected to spray for the vermin. Decided I didn't want to find out if there were bedbugs as well. Expressed my displeasure to the staff on duty and they couldn't have cared less. Not sure why there is an additional five dollar charge that is not covered in the Expedia price. Probably some sort of scam. I contacted Expedia and they have yet to do anything about this. Bet your bottom dollar that I will be disputing the charge. Do yourself a favor and avoid Stay Express Inn Chattanooga like the plague.

Good place to stay. Not sure if your a family traveling if you'd feel too comfortable but it's actually not a bad area. There are some questionable looking characters at times but that's the way it goes at cheap hotels. Rooms are very clean, shower pressure is great for any hotel.

Hair and stains on sheets .

Room was dirty; no coffee service; no iron available; pool closed; air unit needs upgraded;noisy all night. Very bad experience overall.

Right off two highways that we travel. A little beat up, but clean.

The outside is on the sketchy side but the room was good the water pressure was more than the drain could handle but worked ok overall i have paid much more in a hotel and not been any better.

I don't like being charged a 'service fee' when I arrive at a hotel ... the cost stated when I reserved the room should be what I pay when I arrive. Wrap service charges into the cost of the room, rather than asking for it separately and upon arrival.

Beds were soooo comfortable!!! Nice and clean. Great SMART TV!!! Newly remodeled!!! Great value would definitely stay again and again!!!

Filthy eveywhere and questionable people wandering the property all hours of the day and night! Very unsafe feeling!

This is a no frills hotel. Basics only. The bed made a lot of noise when I got into it or moved. The toliet seat was broken. And the few towels you get were very thin. The room was relatively clean though. Just your basic budget hotel.

No Wifi which was annoying. Also the address link in Wotif took us to the wrong location.

Great room at a great rate. We stopped to rest on our way back home. Bed was very comfy and the room was clean.

Only five tv channels were available, shower and sink has mold and dirt and wasnt cleaned properly, room smelled like mildew.

Very strange building to check in off the property and then there is a weird $5 service fee. There was a sign posted that there is Absolutely no refunds given no matter the issue. The first room we were given had water everywhere on the floor. We were assigned another room and the mini fridge was completely frozen over and the TV did not work. The blinds on the window were very strange and did not block out the street lights.

The property resembled a dark grey dungeon…the internet facilities were challenging to non-existent…the beds and pillows were “wanting” and the $5/night owner’s last minute surcharge/money grab was disgusting…no breakfast?…is this 2024? All in all, a very disappointing stay…would not reccomend

Rooms are cute, newly renovated and comfortable. My only issue was the shower and sink water is backward. Cold is hot etc. and you have to turn on water while in the shower as the side near the faucet is permanently closed so …surprise when u crank on what you think is hot water. Saw two roaches go under the bed. Otherwise, for the price, location and for just one night stay it was fine. Staff is super friendly.

Exceptional experience! We left a roach-infested extended stay motel to come here and for the same price, it was a completely different experience. Friendly staff, clean room, good tv with options for cable and streaming apps/devices, shower was a big walk-in with glass doors and the water pressure was absolutely perfect! Any negative reviews here I have to believe were due to a craftsman issue on the remodel and shouldn't reflect on the property or experience, itself. A lot of money and effort was put into this remodel and it shows. I would 100% stay at this place again! Kudos to the owners of this property! Keep up the high quality and promote this more to weary travelers. Chattanooga is the halfway point between Michigan and Florida...this would be a huge selling point for the dozens of fellow Michiganders we saw on I-75 both ways!

I liked to bed is firm and comfortable for my sleeping. But other details were not meeting the standards, such as no tissue paper provided. TV is good but no remote control in the room.
