The experience was amazing! The room and hotel itself was clean and neat! The only issue I had was the heat wasn’t working as well as it should. The maintenance man came the next day and was right on top of it.

I loved the feel of this hotel! There were literally only 8 rooms on our floor. The rooms were very spacious. Our comfort level was very high!!

Amazing, renovated hotel in a historic building. Right in the midst of many walkable bars and restaurants. Very nice part of town, very nice hotel.

Check-in was quick and easy. Room and bathroom were a good size. Shower had good water pressure. Thermostat seemed to not work at all. Housekeeping came each day and emptied trash, replaced towels but did not replenish hospitality items (coffee cups, makeup wipes, water, etc).

This was a very good experience overall. I think the service at breakfast could be improved, and the options at practice could also be better. The biggest hassle was the valet parking, which didn’t really work at all. They had an app and it was trying to text me, and it didn’t work. This caused delays. But overall, it was OK room nice facility nice people.

We could not get our tv service to work and the front desk didn’t know how to fix it either. Wasn’t the biggest deal since we had a short stay, but would have rather had it fixed had we stayed more than 1 night. Maybe ensure all tvs are going to be easily usable for each room

It was a very nice property. The room was very large. It was convenient to many nice restaurants. My only complaint was no refrigerator in the room. The staff were very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an unplanned date night to birmingham. Valerie, the front desk clerk, was amazing. So friendly and attentive. Someone should promote that lady. The room was great. One of the most comfortable beds Ive slept in at a hotel. The room was very clean, as well as the other areas we visited. Will definitely book again.

Really lovely hotel in “the” area of Birmingham. Walk to some great bars and restaurants. Staff were lovely, room was great, Expedia got us a great rate. Don’t love valet parking as only option but a very small downside. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Weekend street noise was pretty tough during our stay. Lack of parking (except pricey valet) was a minus.

Did a quick overnight stay on our way through town and The Kelly was perfect for our needs. Elegant, clean, easy walk to great restaurants and church, great bar/bartender and the decor up leveled our stay from “just passing through” to a special visit.

The Kelly is a beautiful hotel. Conveniently located in the heart of Birmingham. We arrived on a Sunday and the hotel restaurant/bar was closed so had to look for food elsewhere, but that wasn't so bad, What was bad, was the smell of cigarette smoke coming through the air vents. Our room on the 13th floor would be filled with the smell of cigarettes every time the AC unit would kick on. Again this is a beautiful property, but I was left a little disappointed in the overall cleanliness.

Great historic location and building, however it said it had a bar so that’s why we booked. Got there and there’s a bar but it’s closed on Sundays even though sign said open that day. Valet Dion was amazing and suggested the Paramount for food and bar just two blocks away. Not in house like we wanted but a great place nonetheless.

The building is really cool. Parking is valet only and costs $40 per day. This is not mentioned until you arrive. We paid extra for a “city view” which had us staring right into the windows of an adjacent building. Loud late night traffic can be heard all night long. No microwave or fridge located in the room.

The staff goes above and beyond to greet you, explain where everything is located, and even sent a text asking if the room was ok! No one walked past me without speaking! There was plenty of parking lots around. Good walking distance to plenty of restaurants. The room was clean and mattress was comfortable! I wish the room had a refrigerator.

The hotel itself was fantastic: very clean, good price, comfortable beds, and kind staff. My only complaint is the parking. I spent 30 min driving in circles trying to find parking before I finally gave up and paid the $40 to valet park my car for one night. There are many lots nearby, but they are private lots not for apartment residents in surrounding buildings. They really need a dedicated nearby lot for guests to park in. I would not stay again for that reason alone.

The Kelly has a great and hard location at the same time. You are close to everything you could want in a downtown setting. Close to restaurants , coffee and the nightlife. However, if you aren’t going for nightlife the nearby noise from the street can wake you up at night . Wonderful place with a great staff. Parking can be trickey without the valet but it is challenging during the day .

The staff at the front desk as well as the Valet were very nice as well as very helpful. Whatever we needed they got it for us ASAP. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

We only stayed for one night and the staff were all so nice and great. The lobby was so clean and beautiful. The elevator is definitely older and scary. The room was perfect size, clean, and comfy. The carpets are very questionable but that’s probably my only complaint.
