Charged 50 and don’t know why

Our stay was fantastic the front desk staff were so helpful and accommodating. We had driven 14hours and they made every effort to get us checked in early and ensured we had 2 rooms, super pleasant and also informative. The city of Florence had no water for a period of time during our stay and they continually provided updates and information as to when the water would be back on. I would stay here again over any other place in Florence.

Our door on the bathroom was broken and it is like a barn door so as a disabled veteran I was unable to lift the door closed. I also had my 12 year old daughter with me who couldn't lift the door, so if my husband was not in the room we couldn't close the door. They asked me what they were to do and said they were completely booked. We had to struggle through this but I am awaiting some sort of compensation back, since we were there for my father in law's funeral service, we did not want issue with a hotel stay that was supposed to be higher price for better quality. They also gave me a receipt for another person's stay, so it had the person's address, dates they stayed and last four of their credit card number. Definitely do not feel secure about my information with this location. Furthermore, there is no breakfast there. So many people like me, woke up and came down looking for breakfast and there was none. I have stayed in a few different Aloft hotels but this is the worst ever.

The amenities says it has a 24 hr pool but it really opens from 8am-10pm and it's indoor. There was nobody working the kitchen so we couldn't eat breakfast or eat whatever that was at the bar.

The rooms a smelled like mold

Every staff member so super welcoming and friendly. The hotel was bright, fun, and clean. I didn’t get to check out the bar or media room with foosball table, but I will next time. It’s per friendly and right off the highway so this is now going to be my regular road trip stop with my family.

The details made this an excellent stay! Every staff member we encountered was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are fun and the decor is really cute and looks like a big city hotel. The beds are the most comfortable of any hotel I've stayed at for a long time. Little things like really great hair dryers and garment steamers in each room. XL TV's, the toiletries were quality that I would actually use. The pool, bar, restaurant , fire pits, etc added to the vibe. Great value for the price and pet friendly! I would definitely stay here again.

This is a new property that needs to fix some uncomfortable issues. Showers were dirty. Not like some dust but abundant hair and mildew around the corners. The rooms smelled like humidity covered by fragrance. I was moved to 2 rooms both of which had cleanliness issues. Their bar/restaurant is not operational yet. Front desk staff was nice and apologetic. But honestly, why does a 3 month old property have so much dirt and grime in some rooms? If they fix these issues, it would be a nice hotel. Also, if you own an EV that’s not a Tesla make sure to bring your adaptor or you won’t be able to charge your car.

Room was great

I payed for a room at Aloft Florence Civic Center. The room was booked, payed for, and confirmed through Expedia. However, when I arrived to check in, I was informed I did not have a room because the owner and their families had taken all the available rooms. That's right, the owner was staying in the hotel. Despite saying they had rooms they did not, very unprofessional Aloft. It took two hours for Expedia to find me another room, I was in an Uber, and basically stranded. Luckily, I was able to get another rideshare, but had to take a room at the Red Roof Inn. Where I found a bunch of spiders in the bathtub. What a nightmare! I will never attempt to stay at Aloft Florence Civic Center, and definitely don't recommend making reservations at this Aloft.

New building, quiet area. Stayed twice in the same week while traveling 95. Coincidentally got the same room both times. Can't speak for other rooms but both time could have been cleaned better. Hopefully for a hotel that's only 3 months old it gets kept up

Dissapointing that body wash and shampoo bottles were empty, not refill. They also should do better cleaning. Floor was sticky and bath walls had hairs from previous stay

Staff is very nice and the hotel is well maintained. We loved the hours for the pool. Not the easiest room with small children. The modern design doesn’t provide a safe option from keeping them out of the showers and bathroom due to the sliding doors.

There was food left in the refrigerator from the previous stay, there is only 3 towels even when booking the asked how many guests? According to staff there is NO microwave for guests to use. There is a sofa-bed but no extra linens. The bathroom is behind your bed, and there is 2 TVs, the same remote changes both TVs, so when changing 1 TV the other changes as well. Overall I won't recommend or stay at this hotel again especially with family, if you have little ones that need warm bottles and if you need extra linens.

nice and clean. only weird thing was the bathroom, the configuration of the room had the bathroom right behind the beds. And the bathroom wasn't sealed off, it was open to the bedroom windows near the ceiling, and gap could look into the shower area from the bedroom area.

Very comfortable beds! Very clean and modern hotel. Super quiet. The only drawback is that the EV chargers are Tesla chargers, so I couldn't use them. I had even called in advance to confirm that their chargers were not Tesla-specific, and the hotel assured me they were 'regular' chargers that any EV could use. Not true. And when I mentioned this to the person at the front desk, she seemed surprised. I don't think the staff understands that Tesla chargers can only be used by Tesla vehicles. I was able to charge up at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel that was close by. But overall, Aloft provided an excellent place to get a good night's sleep, which was mostly all we wanted. We were just passing through and didn't want or use other amenities.

The hotel is brand new. Modern and clean. Great stay.

Everything was fine just wish there was a microwave and free breakfast available
