A great place to stay! Views were amazing! Highly recommend!

We had a fabulous stay. House is conveniently located for beach walks and waterviews. Walking distance to birch bay market and main part of town. Quiet and relaxing...the covered front porch provides the best seat in the house. Pool table was a surprise and unbelievably fun for the entire family. Lots TVs throughout the house. The layout was awesome. Each floor had its own bathroom. We never ran out of hot water. Washing machine was convenient too. Mudroom kept the rest of the house clean and allowed for extra storage of gear/stuff. Kitchen is loaded with everything you need even a crockpot, blender, mixer, tons of serving dishes, etc. Table was perfect for eating and games...host has provided a nice small collection of games. The outdoor table was just as nice and convenient. BBQ is available for use but we did not use. House was clean. Repairs had been made the day before we arrived. Per staff, the master shower will be replaced soon. Previous issues have created soft floor. Its useable but long term will need replaced. Recommend monthly cleaning behind furniture and BBQ. Previous occupants had quite the party. Garbage can sterilized by all the alcohol. I got drunk from the fumes 20 ft away LOL. As such a few items were still damaged but host made sure items were replaced before our arrival. Would love to stay again soon.

We each had our own queen or king bedroom in this comfortable, impeccably clean house. It was just as advertised, with a better view from the deck than you can see in the photos. Sitting on the deck, looking at the view was our main activity, with walks on the beach and a little sight-seeing. Birch Bay was a place that our family went to every summer over fifty years ago and it was interesting to see how it has changed--lots more boring! The tide was way out every afternoon and there was no shell-fishing (red tide), so good to check your tide chart if you want to get into the water on your trip there.

This house worked really well for our family. A few too many stairs... but bedrooms on every level was very nice. The hill location makes for a great view. Host was wonderful.

House was cute and view was gorgeous. Location was amazing! Sheets smelled clean but were stained. Several pillows and bottom sheets - looked like blood and makeup. Bottom level smelled like sewage. Kitchen was a little greasy and dishes and stuff really weren’t clean. Dried food on utensils. Just needs a good scrubbing. Dead plants in all the pots outside was kinda weird. Has the potential to be an awesome rental!!

The views from this home are beautiful and the location is great, just a short walk down to the beach. We enjoyed the separate living spaces and playing games downstairs. The beds are also very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time in this home and would love to stay here again. The owner was quick to respond to communication and great to work with.

We all throughly enjoyed this wonderful location and home. So much space! Very well taken care of. Lots of amenities. Just the perfect place for us to stay.

We had a fantastic time in Birch Bay. The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Incredible views of the ocean throughout, and the pool table in the basement was a hit. Perfect for families, or even a friends getaway.

This is our second Christmas in this home, it accommodates all ages with a bedroom on the main floor for older parents.

We stayed with 2 families, 8 people, with kids aged 14-24 at the house over Thanksgiving. The house is spacious with lots of light, and is very clean. The kids loved spending time together in the game room while the grown-ups relaxed in the living room, watching the ocean, ever-changing clouds and colors. The kitchen is very well stocked (I've stayed in several places over the years, and have learned to bring my own tools to prepare a Thanksgiving feast, but didn't even need to break them out). Birch Bay is right across the street, with a walkway along the beach (perfect to walk off some of that turkey and pie ;-) - but I'd love to come back in the warmer season to dip my feet into the water and find shells), and the house is just minutes from Birch Bay State Park, Semiamooh and the Peace Arch for short outings - or an hour away from Downtown Vancouver. Thank you, Carmen for letting us stay at your beautiful house, we really enjoyed our time and hope to be back some time soon!

This was their perfect house for our family of 6. Everyone had lots of space to spread out. It was nicely equipped with everything we needed to cook family meals.

Great views, so close to the bay. Close to neighbors but private enough to not even notice. Tastefully decorated, a lot of space for gathering.

Great spot. The home was lovely! The rooms were well equipped and the space was great. Pool table and games available to boot! Carmen was responsive and helpful. Great spot to go with a few couples with the house set up. Easy access to the beach and great patio for lounging and enjoying a nice meal.
