You really are right on the river and can jump straight in. The views are insane. Rooms are quite spacious with mosquito nets. Can’t believe the stay is as good for the price.

It only has fans but it cools down a lot so was a good sleep. You’re a little bit further from the centre but only about 15 mins.

Good breakfast eggs french bread and fruit sitting on the deck overlooking the river. Great staff. Bikes were useful as it was a about a kilometer into town. The rooms open onto a deck and it was lovely to sit and watch the sun rise and set over the mountains.

The bikes could have done with new pedals. The river is very slow flowing - the staff cant do anything about this - its been dammed further up by the Chinese - we swam in it with no problems but would have been nicer in a flowing river.

Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist sehr einfach. Unser Zimmer war an einigen Stellen dreckig und heruntergekommen, sodass wir uns nicht ganz so wohl gefühlt haben. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich, aber das restliche Team wirkt etwas lustlos und ist nicht besonders höflich.

Die Gastgeberfamilie ist wirklich bezaubernd. Im Fluss kann man baden und auf der Terrasse schön chillen. Hier lässt es sich aushalten!

Bikes were old, hard to ride, some were broken. Bathroom flooded when having a shower, didn't drain properly. Has a slightly run down feeling, they need to spend money on maintenance.

Where to begin. Quite frankly the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. There were fleas in the bed of one of the rooms. The bedding was dirty and ripped. The rooms were filthy and in dire need of refurbishing. The shower didn’t get warm. When we tried to cancel the booking and leave after discovering the fleas and the disgusting state of the rooms, one of our party was physically prevented from leaving the hotel by a member of staff and we were threatened with the police if we didn’t pay. We paid and left the next morning. They then cancelled our reservation on booking.com stating we didn’t show up, which I assume was to prevent a review like this. I wonder how many times that has happened because the good reviews beggar belief. Literally the worst hotel we stayed in in SE-Asia. Stay at Phaxang Reaort about a two-minute walk away. The rooms were lovely and clean.
