There are 2.5 bathrooms which is very good when you have more than 2 people. The kitchen had all the necessities, although some were difficult to find. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Towels and linens were clean, as was the entire unit. I was contacted to see if we needed anything, which was a nice touch. The area has a lot of restaurants and shops. It's close to Corolla and the wild horses to the North and Kitty Hawk/ Nags Head to the South.

There was only 1 chair per deck making it impossible for a family to sit out together and no outside tables on the decks, only a picnic table in the carport. The stairs inside are treacherous for those with mobility issues or children as the railing does not go to the top of the stairs. Our friend uses a cane and it was very difficult for her. In addition, the top 2 stairs have no barrier. We ended up putting bags along the way in order not to misstep and take a fall down the stairs. I would NOT recommend it for those with mobility issues or children. The outside stairs to the unit are steep and the railing has splinters. The Fans in the bedrooms rock noisily. The blinds in the twin bedroom have no cord to lift them. The verticle blinds in the kitchen also have no cord. To access the beach you need to walk a distance and when you get over the crossover there is a lot of sand up to and over the stairs. I sunk in but luckily had a pole with me. My friend could not access the beach. To get off the beach I had to crawl up the small sand dune that was covering the lower stairs, with the help of my husband. We are in our 60's but have never had this issue before.

love the location, love the amenities like laundry, dishwasher and bathrooms at each bedroom. Love the spacious living room and the decks. we love the beachy decor and just how comfortable the sofa, swivel chairs and beds are. Also love how easy it is to use the keypad to get in.

bathrooms really could use a stand for the toilet paper, and the downstairs bathroom needs soap. The house could use a broom so we can sweep up after our sandy feet and it would be great to have a small table and sturdier chairs on the front deck.

Very clean and great location!

Vertical blinds on sliding doors are old and hard to open. Many of the blinds were falling off and or taped. Decks are old and need to be replaced - watch for splinters.
