Swimming pool and view

my family and I were faced with several distressing issues that greatly impacted our stay. Firstly, there was a fire in the early hours of the morning when we were all a sleep in the villa which we had to extinguish ourselves. Causing a burn in my fingers. This posed a significant safety concern as there was no proper alarm system in place. If I didn’t wake up to use the toilet no one would have put the fire out and would have been a different consequence.The lack of an alarm system and the owner's unavailability made us feel helpless and vulnerable in such a dangerous situation. To ensure everyone's safety, we were forced to contact the fire department, and the police even had to intervene due to our increasing fear and panic. Furthermore, another disheartening factor was the absence of air conditioning in the rooms. Given the duration and intensity of our stay, this was a significant inconvenience. The lack of proper ventilation and cooling systems made it extremely uncomfortable, especially during the hot summer weather.

The location was perfect, close to the train station, private parking big enough for 2 cars and comfortable beds.

Dirty!! Oh my goodness, when we first walked into the house it smelled like somebody had died, make sure you take plenty of bleach with you. There was dried food stuck in the sink, a big dried smear of something nasty on the kitchen counter, a dried patch of liquid with shards of broken glass on the living room floor. The dishwasher didn't work and was in a disgusting state. Dirty glasses left on the outside bar. I could go on.. when I messaged the contact she didn't seem very concerned, She didn't even acknowledge the filth but explained that the bar stools were probably blown over by the wind and there was a problem this week with the dishwasher. I can assure you that the dishwasher looked like it hadn't been used for much longer than a week. I did try to get photos but not very easy to catch on the work surface and floors (zoom in!). We could have put up with the house being dated & neglected but there is no excuse for filth.
