Radiators hanging off the walls shower went freezing cold during showering and no one else could shower floor boards move when walked on and I slipped on the floor mattress very uncomfortable can feel the springs even when doubled up quilt cover and put pillows on top of this could still feel springs and got no sleep. We booked for 3 nights and only stayed one as no one got any sleep and the condition of the beds shower radiators floor boards , I called Redwoods’s and contacted them via what’s app and booking.com messages for refund and after initial contact, they stopped replying and have refused full refund we only stayed one night as we had no choice as it was so late, and they only refunded us £225!! We paid £434!! we came down to arrange funeral arrangements for my parents who unfortunately died within a week of each other, this situation did not help!! And we brought our dog so we could only stay in limited places. We had to book another accommodation 35 mins outside of Basingstoke for the remainder of the days needed to arrange funeral, which obviously cost more money and more stress.

Awful place The beds were lumpy the floor had holes And the people upstairs were horrendous all night banging We explained to firoz but nothing was done the toilet didn’t work

Location was convenient with close proximity to shops and train/bus commute. Apartment was sunny and neat and offered a decent living space. The owner was very responsive when we had some plumbing issues and were kind enough to bring us a fan during a heat wave (without us even requesting it).

The family room faces a main road, so traffic noise was quite high. The mattresses on the beds were completely worn out and uncomfortable and need immediate replacement. There was no mop or vacuum cleaner to clean with, so this could only be done when the cleaning service arrived once a week.
