Great location within the medieval city. 2 beds , 2 bath beautiful and updated house retaining the beauty of a medieval house. Very clean. the house has an outdoor seating area overlooking the valley and rest of the city which teh entire family loved. spent a lot of time relaxing here even within the 1 day stay we had. Wish we had spent atleast 1 more day here

we had arrived by train as part of a overall 13 day vacation (lots of luggage with atleast 2 very large heavy bags). the taxi we hired took us to an entrance that was far away from the place and we had to lug around the suitcases on a pebbled road for over 15 minutes to get to the apartment. there were directions to a free parking area but its wasnt clear if we are coming by taxi where to get down to make it easier to get to the apartment. it was very frustrating and tiring to get everything to the apartment. suggest the host add clearer instructions on where to ask the taxi to be dropped off along with instructions that there will be walking on the pebbled road and hence pack or prepare accordingly.

Nous avons choisi cet établissement parmi d'autres parce qu'il annonce "un parking privé gratuit". Cette annonce laisse supposer qu'il y a un parking dans l'établissement. En fait pas du tout, le parking est à l'extérieur de la cité (pas de voiture dans la cité mais ça on ne peut pas le savoir avant d'arriver) et il faut faire le déplacement du parking jusqu'à l'établissement avec les valises ! Et c'est long ! Autant prendre un établissement de même gamme au pied de la cité avec un vrai parking ! Dommage que Booking cautionne ce genre d'annonce trompeuse. La porte coulissante séparant la pièce salle d'eau-toilettes de la chambre est cassée, nous sommes obligés d'aller aux toilettes sans pouvoir fermer la porte ! L'annonce fait la promotion d'une vue sur la montagne et le jardin ; en fait c'est une vue sur les toits des maisons voisines. C'est vraiment border line. Bref, tout ceci est très décevant.

Appartement idéalement situé en plein centre de la cité médiévale. Appartement très bien rénové.

- Quelques petits détails : pas de placard, mauvais éclairage dans la salle de bain pour se raser, pas de lampe de chevet, pas de couteau à pain, ni de grille pain, ... rien d'important. - Remarque : Le parking est à 500 m avec des escaliers, pas de souci sauf si vous êtes avec une personne en mobilité réduite ou une personne âgée. Ce serait bien de le préciser dans l'annonce. - Bémol plus grave. Il est précisé sur l'annonce une terrasse avec vue sur la montagne, il n'y a pas de vue sur la montagne. L'appartement est au RDC du coup les fenêtres donnant directement sur la rue oblige à garder les stores fermés. Tout cela donne un appartement plutôt sombre, ce qui doit être assez agréable en pleine été, en pleine chaleur, mais là en Avril avec un mauvais temps, je recherchais un appartement lumineux avec une belle vue. Ce que je n'ai pas eu. Et du coup globalement plutôt déçu.

The location inside Carcassonne citadel is excellent. One one side one gets the medieval atmosphere, and also on is well protected from possible late night disturbances, as the sleeping room is doubly protected from outside noise by an additional glass wall, and has a specific AC unit. There is also an outside terrace with some view on the medieval stones.

WiFi poca cobertura,pues estaba en la habitación. Quise conectar el PC y era imposible, por poca cobertura. Mandé un Wasap a la persona responsable y jamás tuve respuesta...!!! El Router del WiFi es poco eficaz en la habitación, teniendo sala...!!! Eso sí...!!! Tienen dos cajetines para dejar las llaves y me equivoqué al dejarlas y no tardaron en llamar para pedirme las llaves.El email de llegada con directrices,no me lo enviaron hasta las 16:20 h. Además,el número de la casa ,no es el que sale en Booking y me tuvo que ayudar el chico de la tienda. Al que le agradezco su ayuda.Con este tipo de negocio,hay que estar más pendiente del cliente. Es una pena...!!! Te quedas con mal sabor de boca.

Excellent location, in the middle of the donjon, very new and high quality interior

Needs some finishing of last details: One curtain missing in the bedroom, no towel at the toilet sink, small details like that. If that's fixed, it is a great luxurious place, worth the money. (Be aware you have to walk with your luggage from outside the donjon...)

The location, air conditioning, view and cleanliness of the property was great. It’s a lovely apartment right in the heart of the old town. Carcassone is extremely busy at this time of year but the apartment remained quiet.

A little more responsiveness would have been great. We requested hand towels and a top sheet for the bed due to the heat (and only 1 bath towel each being provided) but this wasn’t provided for us. It would be helpful to have a toaster in the kitchen, too. Do take note - there are two apartments listed on the booking.com page - one has a covered veranda and the other has a outdoor terrace. We thought we had hired the one with the terrace but ended up with the veranda.
