Secluded, quiet, and peaceful. I was initially discouraged when the cleaning person was there upon check-in and remained around an hour. The amenities are first rate. From the outdoor dining , ample deck space,fire pit, dock and boats. To the fabulous Blackstone grill ( which we are soon to purchase). I’m certain we prepared every meal using this magnificent grill. Okay, maybe not soup! It was a wonderful experience.

We had a great time during our stay! The house was very clean and accommodated all our needs. Loved the doc area and fire pit, the kids enjoyed the paddle boat they provided Would definitely stay here again!

Need a relaxing get away? This is the place. Spent the week with my two adult children and it was so relaxing. The location is a little out there but well worth the trip. It was so nice not to have the hustle and bustle of the city. We took our boat and tied it off at the dock. The marina is very close and convenient. You wouldn't know it was there it's so quiet. We went out everyday to fish and enjoy the water. Swam from the dock. Clearest water I've ever seen. The internet worked perfect for us (although we only used it to stream TV). The owners were very responsive and kind. The cabin is just lovely. Perfect for a mental reset.

The house was stocked with everything we needed for a great lake trip! Dock worked out awesome as we were able to secure some rentals for our time there and provided a great place to “play” in the lake. Would recommend without hesitation. Very quiet and off the beaten path with beautiful view and accommodations. Look forward to returning again.

Such a quaint cabin on a beautiful, quiet area. We were able to enjoy the water everyday with little to no noise or boat traffic. So peaceful. The paddle boat was such a fun addition. The fire pit was awesome as well. The inside was amazing. Jason and Michelle have everything you could need for your stay and the cabin was clean and well maintained. We had an amazing, relaxing time. The communication with the host was phenomenal! I had a couple questions and they got back to me immediately. I highly recommend.

Had a great stay with me, the wife and our 6 kids. House was in a great location. Had everything we needed to make a big breakfast and head out on the lake for the day. We brought our boat and used the dock to tie up in the evenings and overnight. Kids loved the paddle boat to ride around while fishing. Overall this was a very relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jason and Michelle’s home on Norris Lake. They were extremely responsive before and during our stay and provided lots of recommendations. Their home is in a remote location with lake access, private dock and is very quiet and peaceful. They had a paddle boat and canoe at the house for us to use. We had plenty of room for the four of us with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and an upstairs and downstairs living space which was great for our teenage boys. The fire pit area was awesome, unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there so we were only able to use it one night. The kitchen was well equipped which was very helpful as we cooked most meals at the house since the closest restaurant is about 30 minutes away. We rented a pontoon boat from Blue Springs marina located less than a mile from the house which was really convenient. Apparently the marina is under new ownership so they were a bit unorganized (forgot to include an anchor on the boat and didn’t have a tube for tubing). We ended up stopping by the Flat Hollow marina on the boat to rent a tube and they were a much bigger marina with more to offer. The lake is huge and the water was great for swimming, boating and definitely jet skiing. Chapman’s winery is really cute and family friendly. Overall, their home is a great place to relax and spend quality time with family or friends.

Nice cabin, nice pull through driveway. We had 2 adults that were counting on the internet to complete some work and the internet is unreliable, spotty at best. Two nice TVs but can’t get any stations and this home provided absolutely no DVDs. So unless you’re into playing games in the evenings, you better have a good book (or bring your own DVDs).

Property was absolutely beautiful and the perfect trip away from work. We didnt really even go out much we enjoyed the property so much...thanks a ton!

We had a great time in this cozy cabin. The house was clean and well stocked, right on the lake. About a 30 minute drive to the ride royal blue trails, but close enough to everything we needed in town.

Our family had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was well furnished, clean and had a nice view of Norris Lake. We especially liked the covered deck and full kitchen. Everyone in our party agreed we would love to stay there again.

This property is clean & incredibly well stocked(even a crock pot). There are spices, oil, syrup, lots of useful items in case you forget anything. There is a living room on both floors with flat screen smart TVs. This is great for families that have teenagers. There is an abundance of spaces inside and outside to enjoy. The beds are comfortable. The view of the lake is absolutely the best feature. There are decks on both levels with tons of seating and 2 grills! There is a fire pit we used on several gorgeous winter nights. While the cabin is all you could hope for, for us, the owner was the real stand-out. Upon arrival we didn't have running water due to burst pipe. The area was experiencing unprecedented temperatures and this was out of anyone's control. The owner, Jason, was beyond kind and conscientious. He had it repaired within hours, which was no easy task during holiday season. He even offered to provide us water for drinking and cooking at his expense. Things cannot always go perfectly, but he truly shined at making it right. Even with the water issue, we had no complaints about our experience. If we found ourselves vacationing in the area again, there is no doubt this would be our home away from home. Don't pass this gem up!!

Very nice property for a getaway. It might be just me but it was a little smaller than it appeared in the pictures... But that wasn't a problem at all ..It was actually quite cozy.

The cabin was very clean and had Way more amenities than expected! A very nice Blackstone and Weber grill! Had all the utensils we needed, even had coffee sugar flour spices and such! LOVED the 2 decks for sitting and listening to the rain! Jason was very helpful with everything we needed! Definitely will add this to our favorites to visit again!

We had a great time! Lovely home. Very rural and private. Spent a short two days floating on a raft off the dock, enjoying the sunshine and visiting with our kids!!
