The host offers an immaculate homely cottage which was ideal for our stay for a local wedding with friends. 5* accommodation inside, newly refurbished and very tastefully fitted out. Would highly recommend if staying in the area of Kingsbridge and surround. Easy access to both Salcombe and Beesands where our wedding was attended. Thankyou.

No garden was a shame but we didn’t need it, lots of outdoor activity on the doorstep.

The house was beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. Great beds in both rooms and we were even left with essentials like milk, tea, coffee and prosecco!

Parking is not available at the property but it's only a short walk to a large carpark and Julia provided us with a permit.

Beautiful well equipped cottage. Everything was perfect. Very comfy beds, lovely kitchen with large table, cosy lounge, gorgeous bathroom with huge bath, large showers and everything was high end and brand new. Couldn’t fault it, absolutely fab.

We have just come back from a 5 night stay at #40 and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We love the South Hams and come most years with our daughter and pet, we've stayed in some very beautiful places but #40 is now a favourite. The photos (which are lovely) do not convey how comfortable and stylish and nicely done everything is, there are no corners cut, it felt extremely relaxing and pristine. On arrival we were greeted to a handwritten card, fresh flowers and some bubbles and wine, the kitchen was well stocked and simply but expensively decorated. The dining room was much larger than it looked and very comfortable. The beds and bathrooms were extremely comfortable spaces and very nicely designed, the king bed was luxurious. Altho we were in the heart of the market town, it was not noisy, and we could stroll to the great restaurants and pubs easily (and a small park opposite for the dog). Basically, we had an amazing stay. Julia got back to us really promptly with any queries but was not obtrusive at all. It was a brilliant, relaxing, luxurious and fun stay. We can't say enough good things about it.

We encountered a truly miserable traffic warden! Other than that, everyone was lovely.

A stylish and high quality cottage with lots of thoughtful touches provided in a lovely central location. Parking is not on site but one parking permit is provided for a long stay car park very close by and we were able to load and unload without issue. Property was spotlessly clean and beds were fabulously comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Julia is the perfect host. The house is in a great location in Kingsbridge, it’s decorated & furnished to a high standard, the bath and the shower were luxurious and beds very comfy. I would highly recommend number 40.
