Check-in… host didn’t respond to emails or texts requesting check-in instructions. Ended up having having to call when we got there to get code. Walked in and there was no TVs or WiFi. This was listed on the description which I must have missed. What we did have that was not listed was a very dirty house complete with over grown grass, wasps coming out of the hallway shower drain, bugs, dirty appliances, kitchen sink faucet broke, horrible beds and lots of cats that fight at night. My bedroom had what looked like a receptionist desk by a door that led outside. This said door also does not seal at all. Bugs crawling or flying could easily come and go as they please. We were here on a work trip and as a group of blue collar guys we aren’t hard to please. However, this had everyone in my group cringing. I did call the host when we got there to make them aware of the concerns. Their response was only “house clean, I have video”. There were so many other odd and bad things about this rental but I hope if someone reads this they get the point. This place was a huge disappointment and definitely not worth what it cost to stay here. Complete rip off! Doubt I will use VRBO again either

The house was great. The only small issue was that the A/C never really caught up and kept the home cool until the third day. With no ceiling fans in the rooms made for warm nights. Also the master shower water needs to be adjusted. It has 2 temperatures (HOT & Scalding). Other than that it was perfect! We had a big group and with a full open kitchen had plenty of room and nice cookware! No TV's or wifi was a nice break from the mainstream outlets. All the beds reportedly slept great!

This house was not clean There was bugs and roaches everywhere Dust on everything. Not happy at all with this property Had to call the so called cleaning lady a demand see come open the door to the washer and dryer room I would not recommend anybody to stay at this property

Dirty not clean would not stay again

My family has been doing a trip to south MS for the past few years. We found this property and the price was a great deal! As the trip got closer, we saw the poor review left so we went into it aware that we may have some issues, but decided to stick with out booking. The location is about a mile off the beach and a mile from Government street. We booked a golf cart for the week and it was perfect! The house is clearly a newer listed property, and we missed a few of the details when booking, like that it does not have a TV or that it doesn’t have access to a washer and dryer. No TV was fine, we came prepared with games, tablets and lots of outdoor time for the kids. The no laundry access would have been fine if there were enough bath towels for our group, or any handtowels or rags. Luckily the local contact was kind enough to have her husband come and unlock the laundry room for us! They were both very kind and communicative. The house has lots of little quirks that are to be expected of rental properties. For example, there is no mirror in the master bathroom, there are no handtowel hooks in either bathroom, only soap in the bathrooms, the fridge doors can’t open wide enough to fully open some of the drawers inside. The kitchen did have new utensils, nice dishes, and kids cups. We stayed over Thanksgiving so did bring lots of pots, pans, and Tupperware for the cooking and leftovers. The house also did not have a vacuum, and since we had kids with us, the local contact was kind enough to bring us one. We promptly vacuumed the whole house and found that it likely had not been vacuumed before we came. The beds were clean and comfortable, as were the couches. The outdoor area was nice in theory, but it did not seem very well maintained, and the back yard us shared with a separate living quarter which we did not know about when we booked. He was not home much while we were there, but it was a bit of a shock when we showed up and saw the steps leading to the separate unit right outside of the back our rental house. Overall, it was good for what we needed as multiple families and kids in one house, but we did have to bring lots of things in as well as ask for some things from the local contact. Luckily they were very kind and responsive, or else we would have had lots more issues!

I never received check-in instructions for the property. I had to call a number the morning of to get the instructions texted to my phone. Upon arrival, the house was half cleaned. The beds were made, floors were mopped, however, there was hair and dirt around the toilet and in the sink. We purchased our own cleaning supplies and cleaned both restrooms. After we unloaded the vehicle, we noticed the house had a lot of flies. We thought nothing of it, and killed them thinking they came from outside and we were in and out unloading the vehicle. Once settled and all the flies were killed, we noticed they were still coming out of a vent. We went to dinner and came back and the house was infested with flies, the huge ones. And they were continuing to fly from the air vents. I reached out to Sandra, our evolve host but never received a response. Worst experience ever.
