Loved our visit to Virginia and the ability to rent this home. It was so close to the beach and the famous HK’s restaurant for their amazing Sunday brunch. The bedrooms were very spacious, house was very clean and comfortable. Communication was great with the host. Would definitely stay there again

The house was great for our family of five. My only complaints were that I had to reach out to get the check in info and that both full size showers have stall-size shower curtain liners rather than full size ones. With little kids this left showering them without getting water out of the tub difficult. We loved how close the beach was (5-7 min walk with kids). The beach cart in the garage was helpful to use daily. The beach and waves were perfect for our kids’ ages (10, 6, and 3). Very nice low-key family trip.

The house was neat, clean nicely decorated. The only issue I had was the curtain on the windows in the downstairs were sheer. It was great for the day. At night I felt that there should have been blinds to close for privacy at night. Other than that I enjoyed the stay.

The townhome was overall great, VERY clean and exactly as pictures portrayed. The location was perfect. However there weren't enough towels for everyone in our group so we had to do a lot of laundry (we could only find two washcloths!). Also, it is disappointing that there is only 1 couch for seating in the living room. For a house that sleeps 8+ people, there should be more places to sit in the living area and there is room to add more furniture. My biggest disappointment was about communication and plumbing. The second bedroom bath had ZERO water pressure in the shower so everyone had to use the master shower. Then the shower head suddenly stopped working mid-shower twice. We contacted the host and got very little response. I checked in with him again several hours after reporting the problem and he said that he was talking to plumbers, then nothing. We never heard from him about the issue again. Luckily someone in our group was handy enough to investigate the issue and for some unknown reason, taking the shower head off and putting it back on fixed it. I suppose the host thought if he didn't hear back from us we must be OK, which was true, but if it were my property, I'd be more attentive to my guests, especially about plumbing issues! One mark in the host's favor was at check out. We made a mistake about our check out date so we were late getting packed up and out on the last day and he was forgiving about that, which was appreciated.

Great location and very spacious. Living area had only 1 couch and no other seats. Not comfortable for a group of 4 but unit could sleep 8??? Outlets in bathrooms did not work for my hairdryer??? Area was great and kitchen adequate for cooking.

This is a great place to chill and make memories with the family!!

Club restaurant on the beach with ballay and all you can eat pancakes and dinner was awesome., Neirboors are very nice and friendly. House was very clean and nice my kids and wife had lots of fun.

Place is clean, good communication with owner. Slightly warm upstairs and couldn't find the thermostat. Otherwise was a wonderful place and stay.

The property location is 2 blocks from public beach. It's a quiet safe neighborhood with access to stores, doctor's, hospitals, and shopping etc. The waves are calmer than VA Beach so it is great for little ones. Just 25 minutes from VA beach. The only complaint I have is communication with the property host.

Smelled foul when we entered. Half-eaten baguette on counter. Light bulbs not working. towels or lines not found. Messaging to host was difficult. He said he would "check into that now" but then wouldn't. We wound up staying somewhere else. Assumed he would at least reply to my request for a credit, nothing.

The property was as pictured. Extra clean and spacious. Plenty of linen.

This property is in a excellent location near Chic's beach. Just 2 short blocks where you walk right onto the beach. It's in a nice quiet residential area, away from the hustle and bustle of Virginia Boardwalk area. Additionally, directly in front of the unit is a convience store where you can get some essential supplies if needed, along with beer and wine. The unit itself was nicely stocked with the bear essentials along with silverware, dishes, towels, etc. Beach chairs were also available, along with cart to wheel items over if needed. Overall this was a nice unit and excellent promity to the beach. Only negative has to do with communication. I've rented a few units via VRBO and am used to quite a bit of dialog with property owner before and even after rental. Communication here was lacking to extent of concern prior to day of trip. I do recommend this unit but would encourage full and open dialog with property owner, possibly even via cell vs email prior to full committal.

Property was in a great location for walking to the beach (bay side) for swimming. Well kept property.
