We have been before and I still love it; beautiful peaceful location, amazing decking area and hot tub and stylish property.

I was extremely disappointed that the heater in the main living area did not work. I had specifically emailed ahead of time asking if there was any possibility to have the heater timed to come on at 8:00pm as I would be arriving at 8:30pm after a long drive from London wirh my disabled husband who is in a wheelchair so especially feels the cold and it was due to be 7 degrees that night despite it being the end of April. No one replied to this request and then the hearing did not work at all. I called Sykes first thing he next morning but no one came back to us that day. The following morning as we were checking out, the father of the person who manages the property came to inspect. He was very apologetic as had only been told that morning. The people managing it were on holiday. I feel that sufficient cover should have been in place if they were away and additionally, given my husband’s situation, the cost of the property, and the fact that we are returning customers, some sort of small refund would have been a very much appreciated gesture. We very much want to return next year as it is rare to find such a beautiful place that is also suitable for a wheelchair user so very much hope that better support is out in place in the future.
