Loved the house, the view, everything!!!! It was exactly what we were looking for.

Just what we needed for a relaxing and peaceful weekend. Recommend visiting Mountain City Community Church if you’re there on a Sunday!

We only stayed the weekend but this little place had everything we needed. It's a very clean and cozy! Be forewarned that's a drive is steep up to the place but my Camry had no problems. The walk down to the lake is also steep so if you're out of shape you may not want to go down there LOL. It's very quiet and we rested perfectly each night.

This was our 2nd stay at this lake house and its Absolutely Beautiful and never disappoints we will book again for our next Bristol Race.

Great experience! The location is remote but the house is modern and has nice amenities. We had one minor issue with the door lock and the property manager was there within 15 minutes. The lake is beautiful as advertised! If you’re looking to get away and find some peace and quiet in a beautiful rural setting, this place will deliver.

The house was amazing, super clean and cozy. The boat dock was perfect and we really enjoyed our entire stay. Steve was very communicative when we had questions. We wanted to stay longer, so we’ll be sure to book more nights next time. Thanks, Steve, for a great stay!

We relaxed on the dock, floated, rented a boat for a day. Sat in the porch, sat by fire, cooked/grilled, played games at night. It was great!

We had a great time fishing, swimming, kayaking, and using the fire pit during this vacation.

This is an absolute must place to stay if visiting Lake Watuaga! Family of 6 stayed for three nights and there is not one negative about the house and property. Clean, beautiful view of the lake, comfy beds, nice dock, well equipped kitchen, great outside gas grill, perfect porch, and the list goes on and on. Nice surprise of a bundle of wood on the front porch for an evening of s’mores around the campfire. The description of the property on the listing describes everything to a T. Definitely will check to see if this is available on our next visit to Watauga!!!

Beautiful home in a quiet and secluded part of the lake. Home was ideal for our needs… full kitchen and spacious bedrooms! Highly recommend!

We brought our teenagers to enjoy a few days at the Lake…they left saying they had the best time ever!!! They loved the fire pit, dock and hanging out on the porch. My husband and I loved the cleanliness, well stocked kitchen and gorgeous view! It was so private, well maintained and beautiful! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Driveway was great to park a truck and boat trailer and extra cars! It was so well with stocked towels/supplies…and I loved the fact that it had a laundry room!!! Teens are hard to please….and mine were more than pleased with their experience!!! We’d definitely stay here again!

From the moment that we drove up til the minute we departed was nothing but the relaxation time we needed. This property was immaculate. We wanted for nothing! Started every morning with a cup of coffee on the porch swing overlooking beautiful Lake Watagua and ended every evening (weather permitting) cooking dinner on the campfire or gas grill. The kitchen was well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were also well appointed. Like I said … we wanted for nothing and got much more than we expected! Our host was more than accommodating … very welcoming with goodies and a card and at the same time allowed us complete privacy during our complete stay. We hope to be back in the near future!!! Highly recommend this lovely property!!

This Home is absolutely Beautiful we felt right at home and Steve made sure everything was perfect even went out of his way to make place for a trailer we were pulling. We will definitely stay here again and we are gonna tell family and friends to book this home. ❤️

The house is absolutely gorgeous, very clean. Everything in a working condition, comfortable beds. Located right on the huge lake, great for fishing. Very private and quiet.

Property was clean, in perfect order, and peaceful. Neighbors were quiet and at far enough distance to not be an issue for us. Enough can't be said for how clean everything was, we felt completely at home. We had to contact our host over a minor question (if garbage service ran on Thanksgiving Day) and he was prompt in responding. Would rent this home again.

The house is beautiful and well stocked. The privacy and view are nice bonuses. We loved our stay here.

Remote (but not extremely) & private. The home is well stocked with most everything you will need for a wonderful, relaxing time. It is a beautiful cabin with a great layout, very comfortable furniture, quality items in every room. Steve answered our one call quickly and was very helpful. Thanks Steve. We would highly recommend this cabin and hope to return for another relaxing stay.

The home sets on a hillside overlooking a cove of Watauga Lake. While there we were very pleased with the property and home. The area is very quiet, the neighbors far enough away and the home has everything you need for your stay. Do know you may have no cellular signal (Verizon) but will have wi-fi and and a land line phone. The dock is great but the hill is steep, so be prepared to climb up and down. Enjoy the porch and firepit. I recommend the location for families. If you have elderly adults in your party, know they will need to climb a few stairs at the home and won't be making the trek down to the dock.

My family and I had a wonderful weekend staying in this lake home! It was very clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed! The property and surrounding lake/mountain area was beautiful! Just what we needed!
