This was The Best Value for a Hotel I've ever had! It's a one room Palace with all the amenities you'll ever need. Perfect Location, in the heart of the Playa Del Ray Neighborhood of Venice Beach. Very Ritzy area. Staff was EXCELLENT. Super helpful and Hospitable. Family Owned and Operated. You feel Loved right when you walk through the door. Can't say enough about this place. They don't have anything close to this in Detroit for the price. I've stayed at several awesome Hotels in my short stay so far in LA. All of them were great in their own way but this place is Above and Beyond. You won't regret staying here, I promise.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and comfortable this place was. It was much nicer than a typical hotel.

I loved the energy and vibes around it. The two ladies I corresponded with, Mara and Gloria, were super helpful, kind, accommodating, and really cared about providing a good experience 👍

The place was clean but not 5 star. If you are not on the top floor be prepared to hear a lot of walking, water running, and talking from upstairs. The only sink to wash dishes was the bathroom. Double check which room you are booking. Average

Get the travel insurance for this place because refunds are not given when you get Covid, even when you notify them more than 48 hours prior. Expedia staff said they attempted to contact them multiple times on two different days and no staff could be reached. No refund being given, so I should receive an email with directions on how to get my key, right? Nope. Nothing but being told I’m harassing them via email. Again, get travel insurance! I have average scores on the property since I didn’t see it.

Property was very clean and comfortable. Good location for easy access to the beaches and other attractions , lots of planes taking off, but did not disturb sleep. Mgt staff was helpful and accommodating.

More of a private vacation rental than a hotel and that's a good thing! Street parking was not difficult to find close to the property. A unique, quirky, and fun place to stay!

Had a great 2 night stay at Green Ginger Guest House. Clean room, updated bathroom, and easy parking. Would definitely stay again.

This is NOT a guest house. It is simply a room for rent! Not what was described or expected! Broken pieces etc Check in was a nightmare, no street number or sign, had to phone emergency number to find a lock box in the dark. Lady responded fast and was very nice. Our Honeymoon room was supposed to have a Bay View No where near the bay and you have a view of electricity tower and neighbours garages. Hold in door stiffed with towels Pieces missing from tiny shower. Ridiculously small for a grown man! Very dissatisfied

The location was very safe and parking was very easy right on the street. The place itself was very clean and getting the key was simple. We did not have a fan or an iron that we were expecting and when we asked they told us we would get it the next day. We had mentioned we needed it for a graduation we just needed it tomorrow no doubt. We never received the fan and most importantly the iron, so we had to go Friday morning shopping for a new shirt.. when I had messaged them again on the same number, they asked oh who did you ask? When it was two messages above it…We also were not able to use the hot tub that was advertised. It was closed and very dirty and no pool accessible nearby. With all of those inconveniences we had requested a tiny refund simply for the trouble and not having access to things that were advertised and simply paying for. They mentioned “things happen”. So it is true, but good business owners would do so to make it right for those problems. If that would’ve happened I would give a 5/5 review, but that was a big disappointment for us.

Apartment was ok for a place to crash, we stayed on the bottom floor and it was pretty terrible for noise, you could hear every footstep, and the people upstairs were quite loud until 11pm then again at 4:00am, So we didn’t get much sleep. Room was clean and comfortable, Jacuzzi was ice cold and gross.

The picture received when we confirmed was the upstairs unit, which is sunny and bright. When we arrived we got a basement unit with one window facing a wall, no heat, no hot water, no kitchen sink, and a concrete floor. Bait and switch by Green Ginger or Expedia. Property manager was great. When we called the Property Owner about heat she said there is no money for heat and we got a space heater. It appeared that Owner did not care about our comfort.

The apartment had everything we needed for our 2 night stay and was close to the airport for our return flight.

The king bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and elegant. Nice place to stay for the weekend!

My stay here was lovely. I was made to feel at home fairly quickly and the hotel room was decorated to perfection. The location of the hotel is in a lovely neighborhood, one that I am keen to return to and I would encourage other people to book this hotel.

I love that the people in the area are friendly. However the walls were very thin and you can clearly hear conversation's going on outside and slightly from tenants next door. There was also a lot of stomping coming from the tenants upstairs. Another thing that was upsetting was that the wifi only worked for a few hours the first night. Overall it’s a great location, very clean, cute, and comfortable.

Location was perfect if you’re needing to be in the LA area but you don’t want to stay downtown, my only dislike was there was no temperature control and our toilet kept getting clogged other then that it was an amazing stay. I truly enjoyed it.

This was a horrible experience - I don't understand the 9 rating. I arrived and the place is a mess and also under construction. When I got there a cleaning person said there was no reservation for me and called a manager or owner - on speaker phone the woman was asking if I was nice and they went back and forth while I stood there about my reservation (I had the confirmation from Hotels.com). Finally she walks me back to a room (not the one I paid for) and the room is clean, but no internet and at that point the cleaning person has left and I am feeling unsafe staying there by myself, so I get my stuff and leave the key in a planter and head to the Marriot nearby, which is cheaper, nicer, safer and much better customer service. I am going to try and get my money back through my credit card and Hotels.com - horrible horrible experience and what is stated and showed on their website is NOTHING like what the property is. Do not recommend for single female travelers and if I hadn't happened to cross paths with the cleaning person, I would have had to leave any way because there would not have been a way to check in, especially since they did not have the room I booked clean and ready.

These are very comfortable mini-suites that are part of an exclusively visitor designed home. The area was very quiet, easy to find and within walking distance of convenient coffee and small restaurants. While I didn't use the kitchen amenities other than the coffee maker, it was nice to have the option of cooking my own meals. This is definite return again property on my next trip to the westside of L.A.

The unit was fine for our needs. However, the areaway that you had to go through had standing water and no railing for the stairs up to unit B which isn’t that safe.

Employees were open to communication, polite and helpful. This is quiet place and nice view. We enjoyed jacuzzi, fire place and small garden. We are planning to come back
