As for Paris, the apartment was perfect. Situated in quite neighborhood and equipped with all needed amenities. Several supermarkets and restaurants are around. Hyper market Auchan - 8 minutes drive. Safe parking, designated parking place. Closed area. You can reach the city center by M1 metro line. Château de Vincennes is the closest station. 15-20 minutes walk. George V is the closest station on the same line to the Eiffel Tower. The Museums de Louvre is also on the same line M1. If you travel to the center by car - Parking Indigo Paris Louvre Samaritaine is very close to the Louvre. The communication with the host was superb. She was always in touch and responded in one or two minutes.

I wish they have blankets in duvet covers instead of bedspreads and sheets, but this was not a big problem. perhaps this is traditional for France.

We were very impressed with the communication prior to our arrival and with the condition of the apartment. Everything was in great condition, clean and well equiped. We also appreciated that we could use the private parking. Overall we had a very pleasant experience and will keep it in mind for the future.

L’appartement est lumineux, avec une literie confortable. Il dispose de plusieurs commerces juste au pied de l’immeuble, tout en étant au calme ce qui est très agréable. Le parking est un vrai plus car la résidence est sécurisée, et le propriétaire réactif pour toute question, bref un très bon plan !

Great location, easy to get in and out of Paris from here. A few minutes walk to the metro and a direct line to central Paris.

The location was great. Everything you needed was there and as it is outside Paris, there were much less tourists. It was easy to get to Paris and to Disney.

From the booking I had an impression it is an apart-hotel, but it is someone else's apartment.

Very friendly hosts; who were happy to help even when I got confused with the instructions (my fault; was tired and driving since 5am with 3 kids in the car!). Call, email, WhatsApp and text all available so very accomodating. Property was very spacious for a one bed. Bedding and beds were lovely; as were the nice fluffy towels! Apartment was beautiful. Mini dishwasher an absolute bonus! Parking was fab. Juliette balconies in the main room and bedroom were lovely to sit at in the evening. Beautiful shower. Everything in kitchen as needed. Great TV and WIFI made it very easy for us to watch netflix, go online in the evening etc and chill out. Location was brilliant not just for locally picking up food etc, for places to eat, history and walks, but easy to drive to, with easy access to both the centre of Paris via the RER and Metro but also Disneyland Paris. Would deffo come back again!

Small criticism only as it was a lovely apartment and great hosts. it maybe normal in France, but not having a door number on the flat was really confusing and I would have been very nervous about having found the correct door if a neighbour hadn't been there. The large notes on the wall asking us to be quiet, were, although totally understandable and I think totally necassary information as I could imagine what some people are like, spoilt the look and the welcoming feel of the place. A single note, placed on the table would have been enough to fit all the info in, still in large letters. The wifi code again placed on table in front of the TV would have been more appropriate, again, rather than on the wall; although it was very helpful. It meant we couldn't take photos of the whole place, as they were ugly, and also was a constant reminder to be 'well behaved'. Like I say a single hand written note on the table, an email with 'house rules' in and maybe a booklet with the info in are all great alternatives. A selection of local takeaways or pick up delivery places menus would have been a great bonus, only because I don't speak great French and being able to choose and research the food choices before going in to order, to save the stress. Like I say; all minor things!

Our stay at Apart Hotel Du Bois de Vincennes was nothing short of magical. Marie and Michael went above and beyond to create an experience that will remain etched in our memories for years to come. If you're looking for the perfect place to stay while visiting Paris, look no further. We cannot recommend this enchanting haven highly enough!
