The private pool is amazing, and the view was breathtaking. The on-site breakfast/coffee shop was also really cute and delicious. Julanee very kindly offered to take us to a local restaurant in a car as we didn’t want to drive a scooter, she was so kind and hospitable for our entire stay.

The location is difficult to access. It’s about 30 min drive from the pier, and a ten minute walk in either direction on some steep hills to get to any restaurants or shops. You’re also in the jungle so we did have some tiny bug visitors.

Everything was amazing, the view was absolutely beautiful, a once in a lifetime stay. The staff are truly lovely and Julanee is so kind and sweet, she did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable. The included breakfast is great value for money and the smoothies are the best ones I’ve had so far in Thailand. It’s a 10/15 minute walk to the beach but its quite steep down hill, so I would definitely recommend getting a moped, but you can rent them for cheep directly from the staff, and they’ll bring it to your drive way so it’s super easy and convenient.

It’s only downfall is that we didn’t stay for longer, I could’ve honestly spent a month there.

Spectacular villa with the most wonderful hostess and views that are so beautiful I cannot find the right words. 10 minutes walk into a small town and the beach (although if you are not mobile you will need a scooter or other means of transport as a fairly steep hill) on one side and a very quiet beach down the other side of the hill. The town has some great bars and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious with some home grown fruit shared. I would highly recommend staying here

The apartment was incredible. Such a lovely place to spend time. We were not overlooked and had a beautiful pool to swim in. I couldn't have asked for more. The family loved our stay and it was fantastic to be in such a wonderful location. The staff were also great and really made our stay a pleasure.

The best villa we have stayed in. The host was so helpful and friendly, ordered a take away for us during a monsoon, picked us up when we got stuck in the monsoon and helped sort our washing out from getting soaked in the monsoon. nothing is too much trouble for her. The breakfast and coffee is the best on the island, so much choice and lots of fresh homegrown fruit. The view from our villa was amazing, the pool stunning. Everything was amazing. location is at the top of a hill and a short walk down both sides of the hill takes you to two very nice white sand beaches, one side has lots of bars and restaurants the other is a lot quieter. The hills are big but we walked both several times a day with two kids aged 5 and 4.

The mattresses could have been better. They were not bad , but could have been a little more comfortable.

This place is amazing! Stayed there for a few nights , the villa is outstanding, everything is so clean and well taken care off , the view is amazing. Julianne is the most amazing host in thailand , we had a medical emergency and she helped us with everything while being patient and understanding. IF YOU GO TO KHOPHANGAN THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY!

It was a perfect stay! The Villa was so beautiful and very clean!! The jungle view from our private pool was amazing. After our arrival the host gave us 2 motorbikes, so we could discover the island on our own. Highlight: the very delicious breakfast! Thank you for everything!!

You will need some sort of transportation to get somewhere. Closest town is not that far, though in Thai temperatures and humidity, even small distances can be a drag. The staff however will go out of their way to give you a lift to town and back.

After living on Koh Phangan for five years (2000) and several times on holiday on the other side of the island (Baan Thai) we decided to try Thong Nai Pan as our next destination. The villa is just amazing. We really don’t know/haven’t experienced only one negative point. We arrived by boat in Haad Rin. After a short message the resort taxi picked us up there and brought us to our new home. (from Haad Rin: 1000 and from Thongsala Pier 800 Baht) Normally when u arrive at a hotel: first experience: stress because of the luggage, waiting for the payment etc. Not in this case. They brought us and our luggage in the house (fridge full of drinks) - i asked for the payment - answer: payment tomorrow is ok 🤷‍♀️. The villa has two bedrooms, one livingroom, a kitchen, two bathrooms and of course the best part - the terrace with a wonderful view and the infinity pool + another shower. Every room was nicely furnished and clean. E Devices (TV, fridge, water cooker, gas stove, microwave from the latest state + working AC in every room + WLAN + netflix etc.) No wishes remained unfulfilled. In the evening we were too tired to go out - the head of the team ordered something to eat for us. (there are menus-food for delivery in the house) Also this food was very good and they also brought us our rented motorbike + 2 helmets. (about 250Baht per day i think- maybe a little bit more expensive than usual but I am sure that this bike was not older then a few weeks + for the first time we didn't have to hand in our passports and that’s def worth it to pay a bit more.) Next day we went to the villa coffee (30m from the house away) to eat our first breakfast. We were allowed to choose everything we want from a menu. We tried 99% of the menu during our stay and every single dish was just delicious. (brown bread like in austria in koh phangan - never seen before) I think most of the fruits are from their own garden below the villa.

It was an absolutely dreamy stay! Beautiful view and amazing host Julanee who makes you feel extremely at home. Will absolutely recommend to anyone. Book without hesitation. Such amazing staff as well as great amenities and breathtaking views.

Absolutely lovely and beautifully kept and maintained. Julanee, as expected from many previous reviews, is a perfect host - discreet but immensely helpful whenever she senses her guests may have a question or need. Baan View Talay’s location, setting, furnishing, maintenance, and overall atmosphere are all excellent.

Small thing but the white ropes holding the blinds on the pool terrace need to be replaced as they’re disintegrating into fine, stubbornly clinging polyester dust from long exposure to sunlight.

The view and location are amazing. Really nice host, super friendly and helpful. Great breakfast cooked to order. The breakfast place is in a coffeehouse on site. It's only a few private houses so can book up quickly, don't hesitate you'll love it here. You can ask for scooter rentals and they are delivered on-site in no-time.

There's no A/C in the living/kitchen/dining area but with fans it cools down too and you have the private pool to jump in for cooling down more as needed.
